Advice and support from knowledgeable professionals.
The Fastcap Slide Pro is a drawer installation aid designed to hold drawer slides in position during installation, freeing both hands for fastening. Sold as a pack of two, it suits shops and installers who want a faster, more consistent setup on every job.
Installing drawer slides solo is one of those tasks that seems simple until you're holding the slide against the cabinet wall with one hand and reaching for the drill with the other. The Slide Pro holds the slide in its correct position against the cabinet side so both hands are free to drive screws accurately. That single function speeds up the installation sequence and reduces misaligned slides that need to be reset.
Specific material and construction details for the Slide Pro are not available in the current product data. The tool is a Fastcap product, and Fastcap's installation-aid line is consistently built for repeated shop use. For confirmed material specs, consult the Fastcap product documentation directly.
Cabinet shops running production installs benefit most — the time saved per drawer box adds up quickly when a crew is hanging slides in a full kitchen. Solo installers working on site also gain the most from the hands-free hold, since they can't always pull a second person to steady the slide. Designers and homeowners specifying or replacing drawer hardware will find it equally useful for occasional installs where precision matters more than speed.
Two. The pack covers both sides of a drawer opening so you can set both slides before fastening.
Compatibility details are not confirmed in the available product data. Check the Fastcap documentation for slide types and clearances the tool is designed to support.
Cabinet construction compatibility is not specified in the current data. Fastcap's product literature will confirm which cabinet configurations the Slide Pro supports.
Two tools, both hands free, slides set right the first time — the Slide Pro keeps the installation moving so the job finishes on schedule.
