Hickory Hardware Old Mission bail pull gives you a traditional bail-and-plate handle built for cabinet and furniture projects that call for Old Mission styling. The bail pull comes from the Old Mission Series and is made from zinc die cast, so the body provides a solid metal feel that suits everyday use in residential or light commercial cabinetry. The black mist antique finish delivers a dark, muted look that works well on stained wood doors and drawers where a softer contrast is preferred over bright metal. A 1-1/2 inch center to center dimension sets the mounting hole spacing, which matters when you are aligning this pull to existing boring patterns. The pull projects 5/8 inch off the surface, giving fingers enough clearance while still keeping the hardware close to the door or drawer face for a clean profile.
This bail pull is specified with a 1-1/2 inch center to center dimension, which means the mounting holes are spaced 1-1/2 inches apart on the cabinet face, guiding both new drilling and direct swaps on existing fronts. The pull width of 3-3/4 inches allows the plate and bail to cover a modest section of the door or drawer, which is useful when aligning hardware visually with rail heights or panel layouts. A projection of 5/8 inch sets the handle stand-off, balancing finger room with a close-to-surface profile that suits tight spaces. The listed length or diameter of 2 inches relates to the handle geometry, giving another dimensional reference when planning hardware layouts across multiple fronts.
The PA0721-BMA bail pull, from the Old Mission Series, is suited to cabinet and furniture applications that call for mission-style decorative hardware in a black mist antique finish. The bail pull format with a plate gives a defined mounting footprint on doors and drawers, which helps align the handle with stile and rail elements on traditional face-frame cabinets. A 1-1/2 inch center to center spacing supports use on smaller doors or drawers where tighter hole spacing fits better than longer pulls. With a width of 3-3/4 inches, the pull visually matches narrower drawers, small upper doors, or accent locations on larger pieces where a compact handle is preferred. The zinc die cast construction allows the pull to be used across multi-piece runs of decorative hardware where consistent material and finish are important for a uniform appearance.
The defined 1-1/2 inch center to center measurement on this bail pull helps installers repeat hole spacing across a bank of doors or drawers, which keeps hardware lines straight and reduces layout rework. The 5/8 inch projection gives a predictable stand-off from the surface, which simplifies planning when doors swing past adjacent faces or when drawers need enough finger clearance without extending handles too far into walk paths. The 3-3/4 inch width and 2 inch length or diameter dimension provide clear size references that support consistent hardware placement along rails or centered on narrow drawer fronts. Because the pull uses zinc die cast construction with a black mist antique finish, each piece maintains the same visual tone and shape, supporting repeatable results across a full project run from a single hardware series.
