Standard cabinet hinges assume a 90-degree relationship between door and cabinet side. Blind-corner and angled-wall layouts don't. This hinge is cut to a negative 45 degree cabinet angle, which means the arm geometry is engineered for the inward turn where two cabinet runs meet in a corner. That restricted geometry is the design doing its job, not a shortcoming. The 35mm cup bores into the door as on any concealed hinge, and the hinge body mounts to the cabinet. A matching base plate, sold separately, is required to complete the installation. Because plates are series and brand specific, pair this hinge with Grass Tiomos plates only.
