The Karran Edge 300 is an 18-gauge stainless steel single-bowl kitchen sink that installs seamlessly into laminate and solid surface countertops, bringing undermount style to countertop materials that typically exclude it.
Most undermount sinks require stone or quartz countertops because they bond to the underside of a solid slab. Laminate kitchens have traditionally been limited to drop-in sinks, which leave an exposed rim on the countertop surface. The Edge 300 changes that equation. Karran engineered this sink for seamless undermount installation into laminate and solid surface countertops, so the countertop runs directly to the bowl edge without a visible rim or a seam that catches water and debris. The result is a cleaner look and a counter that wipes down in one pass.
The bowl is formed from 18-gauge stainless steel, a material thickness that strikes a practical balance between rigidity and weight for a kitchen sink that sees daily use. The Edge 300 is designed for laminate and solid surface countertops. If the installation is into granite or quartz, a different Karran sink rated for those materials is the better fit.
This sink is not ADA compliant. If ADA compliance is a requirement for the project, check for a Karran sink with that designation.
