Most cabinet hinges open to 110 degrees, which handles everyday access without issue. The 155 degree opening becomes the right call when a door sits beside a wall, a refrigerator, a tall appliance, or a run of cabinets that wraps a corner. At 155 degrees the door swings far enough to get out of the way entirely, which matters in a tight galley kitchen, a closet with limited clearance, or a cabinet flanked by fixed objects on both sides. The straight arm geometry carries the door at a full overlay position, so the reveal stays narrow and consistent across a run even when the door is opening wide. The 35mm cup bores into the door back, the arm connects to a base plate on the cabinet ordered separately, and the self-close spring handles the return without needing a push to the last inch.
