The PRO600 Rear Mounting Bracket is a screw-on metal bracket that supports the back end of PRO600 series drawer slides in face-frame cabinet installations, where the cabinet side is set back from the face and the slide needs rear anchorage to stay level and aligned.
Face-frame cabinets place a solid wood frame at the front of the box, which sets the cabinet side back from the opening. A drawer slide mounted to that side can hang unsupported at the rear when the front is pulled forward to align with the face frame. The PRO600 Rear Mounting Bracket closes that gap, giving the back of the slide a fixed anchor point so the slide runs parallel to the drawer and the floor. Without it, the slide tips, the drawer binds, and the install fails. This bracket is the part that makes face-frame installation of PRO600 slides practical rather than a workaround.
The bracket is formed metal — rigid enough to hold the slide's rear end in position under load and through regular use. The screw-on mounting pattern lets you set the depth during installation and, if needed, adjust it before driving the screws home. Because the bracket is non-handed, you do not need to stock a left version and a right version separately; one bracket goes wherever the slide needs rear support.
Cabinet shops building face-frame boxes with PRO600 slides are the primary buyer. If you are running PRO600 slides in frameless cabinets with direct side-panel mounting, you do not need this bracket — the slide attaches to the panel at both front and back without a gap. But in face-frame work, rear brackets are a required part of the install, not an optional upgrade. Contractors retrofitting drawers into existing face-frame cabinets will find the non-handed design cuts down on parts management when working across multiple drawers in a run.
Because this bracket is non-handed and one bracket supports one slide end, you need two brackets per drawer — one for the left slide and one for the right. The non-handed design means both are the same part number.
This bracket is specified for the PRO600 series. Other Pro Value Series slides have their own rear bracket SKUs matched to their mounting geometry. Cross-series use is not confirmed and should not be assumed.
No. In a frameless cabinet the slide mounts directly to the flat interior panel at both ends, so a rear bracket is not needed. This bracket exists specifically for face-frame construction, where the rear of the slide needs an independent support point.
Included hardware is not confirmed in the product data. Check the pack contents at the point of order, and have standard cabinet screws on hand for installation.
A drawer slide is only as solid as its rear anchor. Add the PRO600 Rear Mounting Bracket to your face-frame order and the back of every slide has the support it needs to keep the drawer running true from day one.
