The PRO 100SC Rear Mounting Bracket gives the rear end of a PRO100 series drawer slide a solid anchor point inside the cabinet, bridging the gap where the slide cannot fasten directly to a face frame or panel edge. It is a screw-on, non-handed accessory in zinc-finished steel, built for the PRO100 slide family.
Face-frame cabinets set the cabinet side panel back from the front frame, which leaves the rear end of a drawer slide unsupported unless a bracket carries it. This bracket fills that role for PRO100 series slides: it attaches to the cabinet rear panel or a nailer strip and holds the back of the slide at the correct height and depth so the drawer runs level and true. Without rear support in a face-frame box, the slide tips under load and the drawer binds or racks. The bracket eliminates that problem at the back of the run while the slide's front end mounts to the face frame in the usual way.
The bracket is steel with a zinc finish — the standard corrosion-resistant coating for cabinet hardware used in dry indoor environments. The screw-on attachment method keeps installation straightforward: position the bracket at the correct height on the rear panel, drive the screws, and the slide back-end drops into place. The non-handed geometry means the bracket sits the same way on either side, so there is no risk of ordering a mismatched pair.
Cabinet shops and installers working with face-frame construction and PRO100 series slides will reach for this bracket on every drawer opening. It is also the right part when replacing a missing or damaged rear support in an existing face-frame installation running PRO100 hardware. Frameless cabinet builders who mount slides directly to the side panel generally do not need a rear bracket, but for anyone fitting PRO100 slides into a traditional American face-frame box, this bracket is a required component, not an optional add-on.
It is engineered for the PRO100 series. Do not assume it fits PRO560, PRO600, or PRO 3.0 slides — those programs have their own rear bracket SKUs with different mounting geometry.
In a frameless cabinet, the slide mounts directly to the flat side panel across its full length, so a rear bracket is typically not required. This bracket is designed for face-frame construction where the rear end of the slide needs independent support.
One bracket supports one slide end. A standard drawer opening uses two slides, so plan for two brackets — one per side — to support both slide rear ends.
The bracket is screw-on mount; use standard wood screws appropriate for your rear panel or nailer thickness. Screw size is not specified in the product data — follow the PRO100 slide installation guide for the recommended fastener.
A drawer slide is only as reliable as its rear support. Pair this bracket with your PRO100 series slides in face-frame work and the back end of every slide stays put — level, stable, and ready for daily use.
