This Rev-A-Shelf CK Series compost bin is a single 24 quart plastic bin designed to drop into a compatible CK Series pull-out carriage, giving a kitchen waste center a dedicated slot for food scraps and organic material alongside standard trash or recycling.
A compost bin inside a cabinet pull-out keeps food scraps off the counter and out of the regular trash, making it easier to separate organic waste at the point of prep. This bin fits where the kitchen generates the most scraps: tucked under the counter near the sink or the cutting area, riding out on the carriage when it is time to add to it and rolling back out of sight between uses. The 24 quart size gives enough capacity for a couple of days of kitchen activity before the bin needs to go out to the compost pail or yard bin.
The bin is molded from black plastic sized to the CK Series footprint. The finish holds up to repeated wiping and the contact that comes with daily use in a working kitchen. Because this is the bin only, the carriage and any additional bins for trash or recycling are ordered separately, letting a kitchen build exactly the combination it needs rather than buying a complete set when only a replacement or an added compost slot is required.
