This is the right-hand drawer member for a 22 inch (550mm) Blum TANDEMBOX N height drawer system, finished in Stainless Steel. It is the structural side profile that forms the right wall of the drawer box and integrates the full-extension running gear into the TANDEMBOX platform.
The TANDEMBOX drawer member is not a conventional slide bolted to a wood box — it is the right side wall of the drawer itself. The steel profile replaces what would otherwise be a wood drawer side, integrating the runner directly into the structure. That means the drawer box is built to Blum's cutting formula: you supply the bottom panel and back, the system provides the sides and running gear as one engineered unit. This member is the right-hand piece; the left-hand member is a separate SKU, and both are required to complete a working drawer. At the N height of 68.5mm, this system targets shallow applications: the top cutlery drawer in a kitchen run, a bathroom vanity pull-out, or a desk drawer where a tall side profile would crowd the adjacent drawer above.
Stainless Steel on a TANDEMBOX drawer member means a polished, bright metal face on the visible interior wall. That finish reads as clean and commercial in kitchen settings and holds up to the visual demands of open-plan interiors where the drawer contents and walls are visible when the drawer is open. It coordinates naturally with stainless appliances and hardware and pairs well with ORGA-LINE stainless steel interior organization inserts designed for the TANDEMBOX platform. The steel construction throughout the profile carries the structural load of the system's 100 lb rated capacity.
Cabinet shops building production kitchen runs with TANDEMBOX specify this member when the design calls for a bright stainless interior wall rather than the gray or Orion Gray Matte alternatives. Designers working on handle-less or minimal-hardware kitchens often pair the stainless drawer wall with stainless ORGA-LINE trays so the entire open drawer reads as one material. Individual builders replacing a damaged right-hand member in an existing 22 inch N height installation reach for this SKU to restore the system without replacing the full set. Contractors fitting out commercial break rooms or office kitchens, where a bright, durable interior is easier to specify than painted alternatives, also work with this profile regularly.
This is the right-hand drawer member only — one side profile. You need the left-hand member and the system's back panel and bottom to build a complete drawer. Both members together form the running, load-bearing structure of the box.
N height sits at 68.5mm (2-3/4 inches), the low end of the TANDEMBOX side height range. It is sized for shallow drawers where a taller profile would reduce usable opening clearance or crowd the drawer above. Taller height codes are available for deeper storage applications.
No. TANDEMBOX components are matched to the TANDEMBOX platform. LEGRABOX uses its own side profiles and runners, and TANDEM is a different slide family entirely. Mixing components across systems will not produce a working drawer.
The source lists the material as steel and the finish as Stainless Steel. This is a steel profile with a stainless finish — the visible face presents the bright stainless look, while the structural material is steel throughout.
Yes. ORGA-LINE is the interior organization line designed for TANDEMBOX drawers. With the N height profile, choose ORGA-LINE components that fit within the 68.5mm side height so they seat correctly inside the shallow drawer.
When the interior wall of the drawer is as visible as the front, the finish on the profile matters as much as any other design decision. This Stainless Steel right-hand drawer member brings the TANDEMBOX system's full-extension performance and 100 lb capacity to the 22 inch N height application with a finish that holds its own in a well-designed kitchen or commercial space.
