Face-frame cabinets are the primary application. When a slide mounts in a face-frame box, the cabinet side is set back from the face frame and the rear of the slide needs independent support — the C-308 provides that bearing point. The 8mm dowel mount means the boring pattern goes in on the CNC alongside the rest of the cabinet prep, and the bracket snaps into position at assembly without additional fasteners. The adjustable slot lets an installer shift the slide slightly in height or depth even after the bracket is seated, which is useful when aligning a row of drawers to a consistent reveal. The panel needs a bored hole sized for an 8mm dowel at the rear mounting location. In a CNC workflow this boring typically goes into the program alongside other system holes. Hand-boring is possible with an 8mm bit and a consistent depth stop.
