The Elite bowl is 16-gauge stainless steel, a step thicker than the 18-gauge material common in entry-level sinks. The extra thickness reduces flex and drum noise when water hits the bowl, and it gives the sink the rigid, substantial feel of a commercial-grade unit. The bowl is 10 inches deep and 31 by 19 inches inside, sized to take a full sheet pan or a tall stockpot without the sides getting in the way. The drain opening accepts a standard 3-1/2-inch strainer or waste fitting.
