The Karran Elite is a 33-inch single-bowl stainless steel sink that installs from above into a new or existing countertop, making it a practical fit for renovations and new builds alike.
Top-mount installation means the sink rim sits on top of the countertop surface rather than being bonded beneath it. That makes it the right call when you are working with an existing laminate, tile, or solid surface counter that you want to keep, or when the install needs to stay straightforward. It sets into a cutout from above, the rim holds it in place, and it is ready for silicone and connection without countertop fabrication or bonding. For a remodel that is not replacing the countertop, or a renovation on a budget and a timeline, the top-mount path keeps the project moving.
The Elite bowl is 16-gauge stainless steel, a step thicker than the 18-gauge material common in entry-level sinks. The extra thickness reduces flex and drum noise when water hits the bowl, and it gives the sink the rigid, substantial feel of a commercial-grade unit. The bowl is 10 inches deep and 31 by 19 inches inside, sized to take a full sheet pan or a tall stockpot without the sides getting in the way. The drain opening accepts a standard 3-1/2-inch strainer or waste fitting.
This is a large single-bowl sink and requires a minimum 36-inch base cabinet. The countertop cutout follows the standard top-mount template for this footprint; verify the cabinet width and the cutout dimensions before ordering. The sink is designed for installation into granite, quartz, and solid surface countertops as well as laminate and other top-mount-compatible surfaces. It is IAPMO certified and carries no ADA compliance designation. This is an indoor sink intended for kitchen or vanity installations.
Yes. Top-mount installation is designed for drop-in placement from above, so it works with an existing countertop that has a cutout or can be cut to size. This is one of the key advantages over undermount sinks, which require new countertop fabrication.
The sink requires a minimum 36-inch wide base cabinet to accommodate the 33-inch footprint.
It is 16-gauge, which means the steel is thicker than standard 18-gauge. Thicker steel is more rigid, resists denting better, and produces less drum noise in the bowl.
Yes. It is designed for installation into granite, quartz, and solid surface countertops, along with other top-mount-compatible surfaces.
Choose the Karran Elite when you need a deep single-bowl sink with the durability of 16-gauge steel and the installation flexibility of a top-mount drop-in design.
