Matte Black Double Prong Hook for Modern Interiors

This Amerock Aliso double prong decorative wall hook brings a clean, flat-black look to entryways, mudrooms, and closets. It is a two-prong wall hook with a 2-5/8 inch projection, finished in Matte Black over zinc construction.

Key Features

• Two prongs on a single 4-1/2 by 4-1/2 inch mounting plate.
• 2-5/8 inch projection from the wall, giving clearance for bulkier items to hang without pressing against the surface.
• Matte Black finish over zinc, a flat non-reflective tone suited to contemporary and transitional hardware programs.
• Aliso collection piece, with companion hooks and hardware available in the same series.
• Zinc construction throughout.

Two Prongs and Why the Projection Matters

A single hook forces a choice: whatever is hanging occupies the only spot. Two prongs on one mounting plate changes that, letting two items share one wall location without needing a second installation. At 2-5/8 inches the projection is on the deeper side for a hook this size, which means heavier or more structured items like a bag, a jacket, or a hooded sweatshirt hang with room to breathe rather than compressing against the wall. That depth also makes the hook easier to use quickly, since there is no need to angle an item carefully onto a shallow prong.

The Matte Black Finish

Matte Black is a flat, non-reflective surface that reads cleanly in direct light without the glare that a polished finish produces. On a hardware piece mounted at eye level in a hallway or on the back of a door, that matters: the hook becomes a deliberate design detail rather than a reflective distraction. The finish is carried on zinc, which gives the hook a solid, consistent feel. Matte Black also pairs naturally with dark cabinet pulls, black pipe hardware, and the industrial- and urban-influenced interiors where that combination has become a standard. Within the Aliso collection, the same finish runs across companion pieces, so matching hooks to existing hardware in the series is straightforward.

Where This Hook Fits Best

The Aliso Matte Black hook suits rooms where the hardware palette is already trending dark: an entryway with flat black door hardware, a bathroom where fixtures are matte black, a laundry room outfitted with a modern aesthetic, or a home office where a hook behind the door needs to keep pace with the rest of the space. Because two items can hang from one mounting, it is useful in compact locations where wall real estate is limited and a hook rail would be oversized. It also works in rental settings or secondary bedrooms where one hook needs to serve multiple purposes without being replaced as the occupant changes.
