SNAPTOGGLE 1/4-20 wall anchors from MECHANICAL PLASTICS CORP use a heavy-duty hollowwall design to fasten into walls, ceilings, or floors of gypsum board, drywall with a steel stud, concrete block, and tile over drywall, so one anchor style handles varied substrates on the same job. The pre-assembled anchor arrives ready for immediate use, which speeds layout-to-installation time when many fixing points are needed. A ratcheting strap and locking cap assembly positions the one-piece zinc-plated steel anchoring channel flush against the rear of the wall, creating a solid metal bolt to metal channel connection that carries the load at the back face of the surface. The cap then slides down the straps to lock flush against the front of the wall, stabilizing the connection during tightening and helping the anchor stay square to the surface.
This SNAPTOGGLE 1/4-20 hollowwall anchor uses its ratcheting strap and locking cap assembly to position the one-piece zinc-plated steel anchoring channel flush against the rear of the wall, so the channel bears against the back face rather than crushing the wall material. The cap then slides down the straps and locks flush against the front of the wall, which holds the channel in place while the bolt is installed and tightened. The outside straps are easily and quickly snapped off by hand flush with the wall surface, leaving a clean front face that sits flat under mounted hardware or fixtures.
The SNAPTOGGLE anchor is designed for hollowwall use in walls, ceilings, or floors of materials such as gypsum board, drywall with a steel stud, concrete block, and tile over drywall, so it suits a range of interior construction surfaces an installer encounters. When the zinc-plated steel anchoring channel is ratcheted into position against the rear of these materials, the load is carried by the metal channel bearing on the backside, which supports fixtures in hollow or brittle substrates. This 1/4-20 configuration ties into a standard bolt thread size, integrating with typical fastening layouts where a 1/4-20 bolt is part of the hardware assembly.
The pre-assembled SNAPTOGGLE hollowwall anchor arrives ready for immediate use, so every anchor presents the same strap, cap, and channel arrangement, supporting consistent performance from hole to hole. The ratcheting strap and locking cap assembly pulls the one-piece zinc-plated steel anchoring channel tight against the rear of the wall and then locks the cap flush to the front, creating a repeatable clamp of the substrate between metal components each time it is set. The straps on the outside of the wall are easily and quickly snapped off by hand flush with the surface, so every installed anchor leaves a clean, low-profile front that accepts the bolt without extra trimming steps. Holding is dependent only on a metal bolt to metal channel connection, giving installers a predictable, defined interface that is not reliant on wall core variability.
The SNAPTOGGLE 1/4-20 anchor is for hollowwall use in walls, ceilings, or floors of gypsum board, drywall with a steel stud, concrete block, and tile over drywall, covering many interior construction surfaces.
The SNAPTOGGLE anchor uses a ratcheting strap and locking cap to pull a one-piece zinc-plated steel anchoring channel flush against the rear of the wall, so the channel bears on the backside surface.
This SNAPTOGGLE anchor is identified as 1/4-20, which indicates it is designed to work with a 1/4-20 metal bolt engaging the steel anchoring channel.
The SNAPTOGGLE anchor states that holding is dependent only on a metal bolt to metal channel connection, providing a defined threaded interface rather than relying on wall material strength.
With SNAPTOGGLE, the cap locks flush against the front of the wall and the external straps are snapped off by hand flush with the surface, leaving a flat area for mounting fixtures.
The SNAPTOGGLE anchor is pre-assembled and ready for immediate use, so installers handle a single unit per hole and move directly from insertion to locking without separate assembly steps.
The SNAPTOGGLE 1/4-20 hollowwall anchor from MECHANICAL PLASTICS CORP provides a pre-assembled fastener for walls, ceilings, or floors of gypsum board, drywall with a steel stud, concrete block, and tile over drywall, so one anchor style covers varied hollow substrates. Its ratcheting strap and locking cap assembly positions the zinc-plated steel anchoring channel flush against the rear of the wall and locks the cap flush at the front, creating a consistent metal bolt to metal channel connection that supports fixtures in hollow sections.
