Amerock Ladera backplate 18 CC matte black identifies this piece as a decorative backplate in the Ladera Series from Amerock Corporation, so it provides a defined trim base behind your pull or handle for a unified look across a project. Being part of Amerock decorative hardware and moldings means this backplate is designed as visible hardware, so it helps finish off cabinet and furniture fronts where appearance matters. The 18 CC measurement in the product description indicates an 18 inch center-to-center layout, so the mounting holes are set to match pulls drilled on that spread for straightforward alignment. The Amerock BP37770MB manufacturer part number ties this backplate to both the Ladera style and the matte black finish, so it simplifies reordering and matching with other Ladera components across multiple rooms or phases of a job.
The Ladera backplate 18 CC matte black description calls out an 18 inch center-to-center measurement, so hole drilling or layout on doors and drawers can be planned around that fixed spacing. Because the product sits in the decorative hardware and moldings category, it is intended to mount where pulls are already planned, so it works as a visual base that follows the same center-to-center pattern as the pull. The Amerock Ladera naming links this backplate with the broader Ladera Series, so designers and installers can match handle and backplate selections around the same mounting spread without reworking drawings.
The Amerock Ladera Series, Backplate 18 CC matte black description places this part squarely in decorative hardware and moldings, so it fits naturally on cabinet, furniture, or millwork faces where visible trim around pulls is desired. Because it is identified as a backplate, it is meant to sit between the pull and the surface, so it visually enlarges the footprint of the pull while following the same 18 inch center-to-center pull pattern. The Amerock branding and Ladera Series label connect it to a defined style group from Amerock Corporation, so it works best on projects already using or planning to use Ladera handles or related Amerock decorative hardware.
The explicit 18 CC reference in the LADERA BACKPLATE 18 CC MATTE BLACK description signals that the mounting points are laid out on an 18 inch center-to-center spacing, so pulls drilled on that spread will sit squarely on the backplate without layout adjustments. The matte black finish called out in both the SAP description and web description gives a clear color and finish target, so shop drawings and site notes can specify matte black across handles and backplates for consistent appearance. The Amerock Corporation brand, combined with the Amerock product class listing for backplates, ties this to a defined catalog position, so replacement or expansion work later can rely on the same BP37770MB code to repeat the original alignment and finish.
