Center-To-Center Sizing And Backplate Alignment

The product name lists a 6-5/16 inch center-to-center, which corresponds to a 160mm CC dimension, so installers working from metric or imperial drawings can line up pull mounting holes accurately over the backplate. The category and product class both define it as a backplate, so it sits between the cabinet surface and the pull or knob to frame the hardware footprint. The polished chrome description sets its surface appearance, helping designers align it with other polished chrome components on doors, drawers, or panels. The Amerock Thoreau Series naming keeps the style consistent wherever the same series is specified, reducing visual mismatch when multiple trades touch the same project.
