Amerock Thoreau backplate describes a decorative backplate from the Amerock Thoreau Series that works with cabinet hardware where a backplate detail is desired. The Amerock brand and Thoreau Series naming identify it as part of a coordinated decorative hardware family, which helps maintain a consistent look across a project. The backplate is categorized as Decorative Hardware & Moldings in the Backplates class, so it serves as a visible trim component behind a pull or knob rather than structural cabinet hardware. The SAP description and manufacturer part number BP37605CZ designate this exact variant for ordering and replacement, which matters when matching existing installations or duplicating a specification. The web description confirms the same Amerock Thoreau Series identity, tying together catalog and job-site references.
The mention of 192mm CC in the SAP description ties this Amerock Thoreau backplate to pulls drilled on a 192 millimeter center-to-center pattern, which helps align the decorative plate with pre-bored cabinet holes. The 7-9/16 inch length description gives an overall size reference, so an installer can relate the metric center spacing to the total visible plate span on the face of a door or drawer. Being classified as a backplate in Decorative Hardware & Moldings defines it as a surface-mounted trim component, so it occupies the same footprint as the pull base while following the established drilling pattern.
The category listing under Decorative Hardware & Moldings and Backplates defines this Amerock Thoreau Series piece as a trim component used behind cabinet hardware on doors or drawers. Because it is identified specifically as a backplate, it is intended to sit between the cabinet surface and a pull or knob, contributing to the finished appearance around the hardware footprint. The Thoreau Series designation means it belongs to the Amerock Thoreau decorative family, which supports using it wherever that style is specified across residential or commercial cabinetry. The 7-9/16 inch description and 192mm CC reference signal that it works in layouts using pulls with that span, so it fits projects laid out on a 192 millimeter drilling grid.
The 192mm CC detail in the SAP description ties the Amerock Thoreau Series backplate directly to pulls designed on a 192 millimeter center-to-center spacing, which helps align decorative trim with existing or planned drill patterns on cabinet fronts. The 7-9/16 inch length reference gives a practical sense of the plate coverage around those mounting points, which matters when checking how much of the door or drawer face will be visually framed by the Champagne Bronze finish. Identifying the part as BP37605CZ links the finish and drilling relationship to a single code, which reduces confusion when matching hardware schedules or ordering multiple backplates for a run of cabinets using the same decorative scheme.
