Amerock Thoreau backplate is a decorative backplate designed for the Amerock Thoreau Series, so it provides a finished base under your cabinet pulls wherever that series is specified. The backplate is identified as Amerock Thoreau Series, Backplate 10-1/16" CC Golden Champagne, which ties directly to installs laid out for a 10-1/16 inch center-to-center pull pattern. The SAP description THOREAU BACKPLATE 256MM CC GOLD CHAMPGNE confirms a 256mm center-to-center dimension, giving you a metric reference that aligns with the same mounting layout. The Golden Champagne finish stated in both the web and SAP descriptions sets the visual tone of the install, supporting projects that are planned around this specific Amerock color. The manufacturer part number BP37607BBZ uniquely identifies this exact backplate in the Thoreau family, which matters when matching existing jobs, ordering for repeat work, or aligning with project documentation.
The description Amerock Thoreau Series, Backplate 10-1/16" CC Golden Champagne defines a 10-1/16 inch center-to-center layout, which aligns with pulls drilled on that spacing in face frames or frameless fronts. The SAP wording THOREAU BACKPLATE 256MM CC GOLD CHAMPGNE confirms the same layout as 256mm center-to-center, so metric drawings and imperial shop notes are referring to the same mounting points. Because the backplate is categorized under Decorative Hardware & Moldings|Backplates, it is clearly intended to sit behind a pull, which means its hole pattern follows the pull layout rather than introducing a separate drilling scheme.
The category Decorative Hardware & Moldings|Backplates places this product in the backplates group, so its role is to sit between the cabinet or drawer surface and a pull on that same center-to-center spacing. The Amerock Thoreau Series naming ties it to Thoreau-branded decorative hardware from Amerock Corporation, which is useful when the hardware schedule calls out that series across a project. The stated 10-1/16" CC dimension positions this backplate for pulls drilled at that spacing, helping it line up across wider cabinet doors and drawer fronts. The matching 256mm CC value in the SAP description provides the same spacing in metric terms, supporting layouts drawn or machined in millimeters for casework or architectural millwork jobs.
The Golden Champagne finish called out in both the web and SAP descriptions gives a consistent finish label that can be repeated across multiple rooms, so the installed hardware appearance stays uniform from one elevation to the next. The manufacturer part number BP37607BBZ gives installers, shops, and purchasing teams a single, unambiguous code for this exact Thoreau backplate, reducing the chance of mixing different series when ordering against a cut list. The Amerock Corporation brand identification anchors the backplate within Amerock decorative hardware lines, which supports projects that standardize on Amerock across cabinets, bath vanities, and other built-ins. The product class Backplates, Amerock further narrows it to Amerock-specific backplates, which simplifies filtering when specifying or reordering within that family for future phases of work.
