This Amerock concealed long arm Euro hinge is built for half overlay doors on frameless cabinets, with integrated soft-close, and is sold as a pair so both mounting points on the door are covered together.
Half overlay is the configuration where a door covers only part of the cabinet side, most often because two adjacent doors each claim half of a shared center partition. A full overlay hinge arms would collide there; the half crank on this hinge sets the door back just enough so both doors open freely without interfering with each other. The 35mm cup bores into the back of the door, and the arms attach to base plates on the cabinet side, which are sold separately and matched to your frameless box.
The hinge body is steel in a Nickel finish. On a two-door run, the soft-close earns its keep at every opening: both doors settle quietly against the cabinet without slamming, and the mechanism holds up under the repeated use that shared-partition doors see. The screw-on connection is straightforward and secure, with no clip or snap that adds a tool-free complexity the application does not need.
This is the hinge to specify when a frameless cabinet has two doors meeting on one partition and the project calls for soft-close. It suits standard doors in the 16 to 22mm range. Because it is sold as a pair, a two-door cabinet with one partition needs two of these pairs, one pair per door. For doors that cover the full cabinet side rather than sharing a partition, a full overlay hinge is the correct choice. For doors thicker than 22mm, a thick-door hinge is the better fit.
A base plate is required and sold separately. The hinge arms attach to a plate that mounts to the cabinet side panel. Use a plate matched to this brand and sized for your frameless cabinet construction.
Two pairs, one for each door. Each pair covers the upper and lower hinge positions on a single door. For taller or heavier doors, check the manufacturer's load guidance to confirm whether three hinges per door are needed.
This hinge is specified for frameless cabinets. For a face-frame cabinet, a face-frame hinge or a hinge with a face-frame adapter plate is the appropriate choice.
Specify this pair when a frameless layout calls for half overlay doors that share a partition and settle quietly on every close.
