Schaub Modo rectangular pull gives a cabinet door or drawer a compact rectangular grip that fits small fronts or tight layouts. The 1-7/8 inch center-to-center size sets the mounting hole spacing, which helps lay out multiple pulls in a consistent line across a run of cabinetry. Its gun metal finish defines the visible surface color, so fronts can be coordinated with other dark-toned decorative hardware on the same job. As part of the Schaub and Company line, this pull sits within a focused decorative hardware range, which matters when matching styles across doors and drawers. Being classified under handles and pulls sets its role as a primary opening point on cabinet faces. The rectangular shape keeps a simple geometry that suits modern or minimal millwork where clean lines are preferred on finished installations.
The 1-7/8 inch center-to-center measurement defines where mounting holes land on the cabinet surface, which guides drilling jigs and templates for a repeatable layout. The 48 mm center-to-center value mirrors this spacing in metric terms, which supports teams working in mixed inch and metric environments during shop fabrication or onsite drilling. The pull uses thread size 2xM4x45, so the threaded interface is designed around M4 machine threads, which matters when selecting drilling diameter and depth for the mounting points in wood or composite fronts. Knowing this thread specification helps installers match the pull to drilling equipment and typical cabinet construction thicknesses during hardware setup.
The Schaub Modo rectangular pull sits in the handles and pulls category, which positions it for use on cabinet doors and drawers across kitchens, baths, and built-ins where decorative hardware is required. Its compact 1-7/8 inch center-to-center span suits narrow drawer fronts or smaller cabinet doors, which helps maintain balanced proportions when larger pulls would crowd the stile or rail edges. The gun metal finish gives the pull a dark accent, which supports design schemes that call for subtle contrast against light surfaces or a coordinated tone-on-tone look on darker casework. With its rectangular form, this pull aligns with linear cabinet designs, so it works well on frameless cabinets or slab fronts where straight edges and continuous lines are part of the layout intent.
The defined 1-7/8 inch center-to-center spacing offers a clear drilling reference, which simplifies setting stops on jigs or drill presses for repeated cabinet pull installations. Having the same spacing expressed as 48 mm supports metric-based shop drawings, which can reduce conversion steps when working from metric plans. The thread size 2xM4x45 specifies an M4 machine-thread connection, which guides bit selection for pilot holes so the pull seats properly against the cabinet surface once tightened. With these measurements documented, installers can standardize hole locations across multiple cabinets, which supports cleaner alignment between doors and drawers in long runs of casework. Combined, the center-to-center dimensions and the M4 thread detail help streamline layout, drilling, and mounting steps on repetitive projects where time and consistency matter.
