Schaub Positano pull 6-5/16 CC identifies this pull as part of the Schaub and Company Positano line, which gives you a consistent style reference when planning cabinet layouts across a room or an entire project. The 6-5/16 inch center-to-center sizing defines the distance between the mounting holes, which guides drilling patterns and layout work on drawer fronts or doors. The polished chrome and smoke finish combination establishes the visual character of the pull, which matters when aligning hardware with adjacent decorative hardware and moldings. The positioning of this product in the Handles and Pulls category connects it directly to everyday cabinet and furniture use, so it fits typical woodworking shop workflows. The Schaub and Company brand tie-in identifies the manufacturer, which matters when you are matching existing installations that already use Schaub decorative hardware and need the same product family.
The 6-5/16 inch center-to-center measurement on this Schaub Positano pull sets the exact spacing for mounting holes, which lets you standardize drilling on cabinet doors and drawers. By working from that center-to-center value, installers can use templates or shop-built jigs to repeat the same layout from piece to piece, reducing layout time across a run of cabinets. The Handles and Pulls category placement confirms that this product is meant for pull-style mounting, which aligns with standard cabinet preparation where two holes are laid out on a horizontal line. Using the 6-5/16 inch spacing as the reference point supports consistent alignment along drawer stacks and across adjacent doors, which helps finished jobs present straight sight lines.
This product is identified as a Schaub Positano pull in the Handles and Pulls category, which positions it directly for cabinet and furniture hardware roles in woodworking shops. The 6-5/16 inch center-to-center sizing suits medium to wider drawer fronts or larger doors, so it can serve as a primary pull on many residential or commercial cabinet runs. Because it is part of the Decorative Hardware and Moldings group, it aligns naturally with jobs that require visible hardware as part of the finished look rather than strictly utilitarian fittings. The Schaub and Company brand association connects this pull to other Schaub decorative pieces, which helps designers keep a unified style through kitchens, baths, or office millwork using the same family of hardware. When projects reference the SAP description "POSITANO PULL,6-5/16'CC,PC/ SMOKE," everyone on the team is talking about the same component, which keeps ordering and installation aligned to the original design intent.
The stated 6-5/16 inch center-to-center dimension on this Positano cabinet pull controls the relationship between mounting points, which allows installers to base all drilling off a single repeatable measurement. That clear spacing spec makes it straightforward to build or set up drilling jigs, helping shops process multiple doors and drawers in batches with consistent results. Working with a defined center-to-center value also simplifies layout when replacing existing pulls of the same size, because the existing hole spacing can remain unchanged while updating the style. The polished chrome and smoke description gives the finish reference that designers and builders use to coordinate with hinges, other handles and pulls, or nearby decorative hardware and moldings. The Manufacturer Part # 317-26-SM and the Web description reference allow purchasing teams and installers to call out the exact pull, which reduces the chance of mixing different sizes or finishes on the same job and helps avoid rework.
