Schaub Fonce Bar Pull 8" CC is a decorative cabinet handle from Schaub and Company that uses an 8 inch center-to-center mounting, so it spans wider cabinet fronts while matching standard drilling layouts. The bar in matte black sets a dark, modern line across the door or drawer face, which gives contrast against lighter cabinetry and blends into darker finishes. Satin brass stems support the bar, creating a mixed-finish look that visually breaks up the pull and defines the mounting points. This mix of matte black bar and satin brass stems ties into two-tone hardware schemes, which helps connect cabinet fronts to hinges, faucets, or other brass details in the space. Being part of the Schaub handles and pulls class, this bar pull fits decorative hardware layouts where consistent styling across several openings matters.
The 8 inch center-to-center layout on the Schaub Fonce Bar Pull guides drilling by giving a fixed distance between mounting holes, which supports straight, repeatable runs across doors and drawers. The bar and stems configuration means the stems carry the fastener connection to the cabinet surface, so once the holes follow the 8 inch spacing, the pull seats in a predictable position. This handles and pulls format suits typical cabinet face applications, where the bar projects outward while the stems sit tight to the panel. Using the 428-MB-SB part designation helps align this pull with drawings or hardware schedules on jobs that call out exact decorative hardware by number.
The Schaub Fonce bar pull, identified as 428-MB-SB, fits into decorative hardware layouts where a linear bar and visible posts suit the cabinet style, so it works well across banks of doors and drawers that need a uniform handle. Its 8 inch center-to-center spacing means it is sized for medium to wider cabinet fronts, which positions the hand grip closer to the width of larger doors and helps balance drawer faces. The matte black bar gives a strong horizontal or vertical line on the cabinet, which supports modern or transitional design schemes that rely on clean, straight hardware. Satin brass stems add a second tone at the mounting points, so the pull can visually connect to other brass elements in the room without changing the primary bar color. Being part of the Schaub handles and pulls category, this piece aligns with other Schaub hardware choices, which helps maintain a unified look from one cabinet run to the next.
The 8 inch center-to-center dimension on this Schaub Fonce bar pull directly controls hole placement, which helps installers repeat the same spacing across multiple fronts and reduces layout variation from cabinet to cabinet. Having the center-to-center value defined lets shops prepare doors and drawers in advance on drilling equipment, which supports faster production runs. The clear distinction between the matte black bar and satin brass stems makes the mounting points visually obvious, which can help during alignment because the stems show exactly where the pull meets the surface. The specific 428-MB-SB designation ties the matte black bar and satin brass stems to one known configuration, which reduces the chance of mixing similar-looking pulls with different finishes on a job. As a decorative handle within the Schaub product class, this bar pull fits into plans where hardware selection is documented by brand and part number, which supports repeatable results on future phases or matching replacements.
