Schaub Empire pull 8 inch CC gives a defined 8 inch center-to-center mounting span, which sets consistent hole spacing across cabinet doors or drawers. That fixed dimension supports repeatable drilling layouts when you are running multiple fronts on a project. The pull is part of the Empire line from Schaub and Company, so it fits into a coordinated decorative hardware style family for unified jobs. Its Signature Satin Brass finish adds a satin brass look that can tie in with other brass hardware details on cabinets or built-ins. The pull belongs to the Handles and Pulls category, which means it is designed to be gripped and operated on cabinet fronts rather than acting as a hinge or catch. Wurth Baer Supply presents this pull for professional woodworking and cabinet applications where matching hardware and consistent layout matter.
The pull uses an 8 inch center-to-center layout, so installers can plan drilling at that exact spacing when preparing cabinet faces. This dimension keeps alignment predictable from one cabinet front to the next. The thread or screw size specified as #8-32 defines the fastener interface at the pull, so selection of #8-32 machine threads will match the internal pull threads during mounting. With these known dimensions, layout and fastening steps can be set into a repeatable workflow on shop or onsite installations.
The Empire pull belongs to Decorative Hardware and Moldings under Handles and Pulls, so it is intended for visible cabinet and furniture faces where appearance and function both matter. Its Signature Satin Brass finish suits projects that call for a satin brass tone rather than bright or dark alternatives, giving designers a defined color reference in project documents. As a Schaub and Company pull, it fits into projects already specifying Schaub decorative hardware, keeping submittals consistent across doors, drawers, and other casework elements. The 8 inch center-to-center format works well on wider doors or larger drawer fronts, where the longer grip length visually balances the front and provides an extended hand contact area in daily use.
The specified 8 inch center-to-center spacing lets installers set stops on drill presses or templates once, then repeat accurate hole locations across a full kitchen or bank of casework. This reduces layout variation from piece to piece and supports uniform handle placement. The #8-32 thread size standardizes the connection at the pull, so stock of #8-32 machine screws can be used job-wide wherever this pull is specified. Tying the design to manufacturer part number 879-SSB provides a precise reference for job schedules, which helps maintain the same Empire pull through change orders or future expansions. Being clearly classified as a handle and pull from Schaub means it can be specified alongside matching items in the same decorative range, supporting cohesive results across all visible hardware on the project.
