A kidney-shaped lazy susan addresses this by giving every item a position on the tray that rotates forward on demand. The kidney silhouette wraps around the cabinet pole, so the usable surface extends closer to the center of the cabinet than a circular tray can manage. This tray sits on the cabinet floor, keeping heavier items low and stable where they belong.
The tray is maple wood with a prefinished surface, so it goes into the cabinet without a finishing step.
