The Air-Pro 01A BIS is a ventilator power pack in a Bisque finish, designed to fit inside a compatible wood or custom hood shell and provide the blower, lighting, and filtration that make the hood functional above the cooktop.
A wood or custom hood shell frames the space above the range, but it moves no air on its own. This power pack is the component that handles ventilation. It houses the centrifugal Sirocco blower and mounts into the shell so the finished assembly draws cooking byproducts up and away from the cooking surface. Three blower speeds give the output flexibility: low for background ventilation on a gentle simmer, medium for everyday cooking, and high when the cooktop is running hard. The 7-sone noise rating at high speed reflects a unit designed to prioritize quiet operation alongside airflow.
The Bisque finish suits kitchens built around cream, warm white, or coordinated bisque appliance packages, where a silver or stainless insert would read as a mismatch. The unit measures 19-5/8 inches wide, 13-5/8 inches deep, and 9-5/8 inches tall, so the hood shell and liner dimensions should be confirmed against these figures before the unit is ordered. The dishwasher-safe filter keeps upkeep simple, and the integrated halogen light is built into the unit rather than sourced separately.
This unit is the right choice for a wood or custom hood project where the shell and liner are already selected and the cooktop runs on a standard residential burner output up to 30,000 BTU. Kitchen designers specifying a coordinated bisque or cream appliance suite will find the finish a practical match. Cabinet shops and installers completing a custom hood build use this power pack to supply the functional core the shell cannot provide on its own. For higher-output professional or commercial-style cooktops that exceed 30,000 BTU, a higher-capacity unit should be specified instead.
No. This is the ventilator power pack only. The decorative wood or custom hood shell and any liner are separate components selected and ordered to match your installation.
Bisque is a warm off-white tone that coordinates with cream and bisque-colored appliances and cabinetry. It is well suited to kitchens where stainless or silver finishes would not blend with the surrounding color palette.
The unit is rated at 7 sones on high. Running at medium or low speed reduces the output and the noise level accordingly.
The filter is dishwasher-safe, so it can go through a normal dishwasher cycle for routine cleaning without scrubbing or hand-washing.
Choose the 01A BIS when the hood build calls for a ventilator that disappears into a bisque or cream kitchen rather than standing out, while still delivering the three-speed airflow and 30,000 BTU capacity a residential cooktop requires.
