Salice Series CU Silentia hinge is a concealed cabinet hinge designed for face-frame applications where 1-3/8 inch overlay is required, so it supports standard overlay layouts while keeping hardware out of sight for a cleaner cabinet look. As a soft-close hinge with an integrated decelerating mechanism on the hinge, it slows the door near the end of travel, which helps prevent slamming and reduces impact on the cabinet over time. The hinge is part of the Salice America concealed face frame hinges family, so it fits projects already built around this product class. A 106 degree opening lets the door swing wide enough for everyday access without over-rotation, which helps cabinet doors clear adjacent fronts in typical runs. Nickel plated steel construction provides a hard-wearing surface, so the hinge stands up to repeated cycles in busy kitchen or shop environments.
This screw-on face-frame hinge mounts using a screw-on system, so it installs with standard cabinet fasteners into the frame and door without specialized press-in hardware. Possible drilling distance on the door ranges from 2.5 mm to 6.0 mm, or 3/32 inch to 1/4 inch, which lets fabricators choose a boring distance that suits their overlay and edge profile while staying within the hinge operating range. The hinge cup depth of 11 mm supports consistent boring across the door run, so setups stay the same regardless of which hinge in the line is used. Because the soft-close function is built into the hinge and can be deactivated with the front activation switch, installers can mount all hinges the same way and then set closing strength door by door after alignment.
This Salice 1-3/8 overlay hinge is intended for face-frame cabinets that call for a 1-3/8 inch overlay, matching many full-overlay or wide-overlay layouts in kitchen and bath projects. As part of the Salice Series CU Silentia line, it shares the same 11 mm cup depth as all hinges in the line, so it fits door programs already bored for this series without changing tooling. The 106 degree concealed hinge opening works well on wall and base cabinets where doors need good access but are still close to adjacent doors or appliances. Because the hinge is a concealed cabinet hinge in nickel plated steel, it suits residential and shop environments where hidden hardware and a consistent metallic finish are preferred. The hinge belongs to the concealed face frame hinges category, so it is oriented toward projects using frames rather than frameless box construction.
This 3 cam adjustment hinge offers three independent cams, which lets installers move the door in small, controlled steps to dial in gaps without ovalizing holes or loosening mounting points. Fine-tuning with cams preserves the screw-on face-frame hinge mounting, so alignment stays stable after setup. The integrated soft close mechanism on the hinge uses a decelerating mechanism near the end of the swing, which reduces closing speed and limits shock on the frame and door joints. Because the soft-close feature can be deactivated using the activation switch clearly visible on the front of the unit, the same CUP3CD9R soft-close hinge can serve both soft-closing and free-swing door positions within a project, simplifying planning. The nickel plated steel build supports repeated cam adjustments and switch use, so doors can be re-tuned during later service visits without replacing the hinge body. Together, the 3 cam adjustment hinge design and controllable soft closing strength streamline installation, reduce rework, and support consistent reveals across large cabinet runs.
This hinge is a concealed cabinet hinge for face-frame cabinets with 1-3/8 inch overlay, so it supports wide-overlay face-frame layouts where hidden hardware is preferred.
The hinge opens to 106 degrees, giving doors wide swing for everyday access while limiting over-travel that could bring corners into contact with adjacent fronts.
The 3 cam adjustment hinge uses three cams to shift door position in small steps, which lets installers correct reveals precisely without loosening main mounting screws.
This hinge supports a possible drilling distance on the door from 2.5 mm to 6.0 mm, or 3/32 inch to 1/4 inch, allowing flexibility around edge profiles and overlays.
The integrated soft close mechanism can be deactivated by using the activation switch on the front of the unit, so doors can be set to soft-close or free-swing.
The hinge is made from nickel plated steel, providing a hard-wearing metallic finish that handles frequent cycles in typical cabinet environments.
The Salice Series CU Silentia hinge with 1-3/8 inch overlay, 3 cam adjustment, and screw-on face-frame mounting gives cabinet builders a concealed hinge that supports precise alignment and controllable soft-closing behavior. With its 106 degree opening, 11 mm cup depth shared across the line, and nickel plated steel construction, it fits face-frame runs where consistent boring setups and long-term function matter. Select the CUP3CD9R soft-close hinge for projects that need concealed hardware, adjustable closing strength, and repeatable cam alignment across multiple cabinet doors.
