Blum TIP-ON BLUMOTION Combined Unit for Handle-Less LEGRABOX Drawers in Black

This is the Blum TIP-ON BLUMOTION unit for the LEGRABOX and MOVENTO L5 series — a combined push-to-open and soft-close mechanism in one Black-finished unit that lets handle-less drawer fronts open at a press and close silently under damping. Sold as a left-and-right pair (R+L) for one drawer.

Key Features

• Combined push-to-open and BLUMOTION soft-close in one unit — a single ejector and damper replace two separate components on the same runner.
• Black finish — matches Black LEGRABOX interiors and hardware for a visually consistent, shadow-free interior.
• 155 lb static weight capacity, 110 lb dynamic — suited to loaded kitchen drawers and heavy pot pull-outs.
• Made for LEGRABOX and MOVENTO L5 series runners — fits the TIP-ON BLUMOTION L5 program; not interchangeable with TANDEM plus or standard MOVENTO runners.
• Sold as a left-and-right set (R+L) — one purchase equips one complete drawer.
• For nominal lengths 18 inch through 24 inch — covers the most common kitchen drawer depth range.

Where This Unit Fits in a Handle-Less Kitchen

Handle-less kitchen design removes every visible pull, which means the drawer has to open on its own when the front is pressed. The TIP-ON BLUMOTION unit is how that happens on a LEGRABOX build. Press the front, the ejector releases the drawer and pushes it out; push it closed, and BLUMOTION damping slows the last inch to a quiet, controlled stop. Because push-to-open and soft-close are integrated in one unit rather than added separately, there is no conflict between the two functions — a common problem with plain mechanical push-to-open units paired with external dampers. This is the right component for deep utensil drawers, heavy pots-and-pans drawers, and any application where both a clean face and a controlled close matter.

Black Finish and System Compatibility

The Black finish on this unit is selected when the LEGRABOX interior is specified in Black — the drawer sides, back, and cover caps carry that same finish, and matching the TIP-ON BLUMOTION unit keeps the interior looking intentional rather than mismatched. Beyond color, the L5 designation ties this unit to the LEGRABOX and MOVENTO L5 runner series specifically. TIP-ON BLUMOTION components are engineered per platform: the L5 unit does not fit TANDEM plus runners, and TANDEM plus TIP-ON BLUMOTION units do not fit LEGRABOX. If your project uses a different Blum runner series, confirm the correct TIP-ON BLUMOTION variant before ordering.

Who Orders This Unit

Cabinet shops building handle-less kitchens on the LEGRABOX platform are the primary buyer — typically specifying the TIP-ON BLUMOTION unit at the same time as the drawer sides and runners, so every component arrives from the same system. Designers specifying handle-less fronts in Black interiors will want this unit paired with Black LEGRABOX sides and Black cover caps to hold the finish language through the full interior. The 18 inch to 24 inch nominal length range covers standard base cabinet depths, making this the go-to unit for most residential and light commercial kitchen configurations.

One Unit, One Less Decision

Combining push-to-open and soft-close in a single Black-finished unit removes the guesswork of pairing separate components — and keeps the LEGRABOX interior consistent from side to side, front to back.
