Liberty Hardware Soft Modern Pull 6-5/16" (160 mm) Center to Center, Flat Black, P34939-FB-C

Liberty Soft Modern Pull For Cabinet Projects

Liberty Soft Modern pull gives you a 160 mm center to center handle designed for straightforward cabinet and drawer projects. The pull is part of the Soft Modern collection, so its form and sizing follow a consistent design language across that line. A flat black finish covers the pull, providing a uniform color surface that visually ties in with other flat black decorative hardware on the job. The pull is made from zinc die cast, which creates a solid, one-piece body that handles repeated opening and closing in everyday cabinet use. Overall length is 7.11 inches, giving you a handle span that works well on many cabinet doors and wider drawers. The projection is 0.55 inch, so the pull stands off the cabinet face by just over half an inch for a low-profile grip. The pull width is 1.2 inches, giving fingers a defined edge to grab during operation.

Key Soft Modern Pull Details That Matter

• The 160 mm center to center drilling sets exact hole spacing, which simplifies layout when you are boring new fronts or matching existing 160 mm patterns on replacement work.
• The 7.11 inch overall length keeps the handle proportionate to standard cabinet and drawer widths, helping maintain balanced sightlines across a run of doors and fronts.
• The flat black finish provides a consistent dark surface that supports design choices where contrast or uniform dark hardware is specified across a kitchen or shop build.
• The zinc die cast construction forms a single molded part, giving a rigid pull body that supports hand force when operating doors and drawers throughout daily cycles.
• The 0.55 inch projection sets the pull slightly off the face, creating clearance for fingers while keeping the handle close to the door plane for a streamlined look.
• The 1.2 inch width presents a broader gripping surface, helping users get a sure hold on doors and drawers, especially on heavier cabinet fronts.

Mounting This 160mm Center To Center Pull

This 160 mm center to center pull mounts through the cabinet face using standard 8-32 x 1 inch screws, so the handle anchors back to the door or drawer front for solid operation. The defined 160 mm drilling pattern lets you set up jigs or boring templates once and repeat the layout across multiple fronts, which is useful on larger kitchen or casework runs. The 0.55 inch projection off the face means the pull stays close to the panel, which can help in tight spaces where doors open near walls or adjacent cabinets. With the 1.2 inch width, the pull presents enough edge for fingers to pull straight out from the face, which helps doors open smoothly without twisting force on the mount points. The 7.11 inch length also helps distribute pulling force along the face of wider fronts.

Using The Flat Black Pull In Real Projects

Where This Liberty Soft Modern Pull Fits Best

This Liberty Soft Modern pull works well anywhere a 160 mm center to center handle is specified, because its fixed drilling span aligns with common metric cabinet boring patterns. The pull belongs to the Soft Modern collection, so it fits projects where that collection is used to keep hardware style consistent across multiple cabinet types. The flat black finish supports designs where dark hardware is desired against painted, laminated, or natural wood fronts. At 7.11 inches overall length, the pull suits both doors and wider drawers, giving installers a single part number for multiple front sizes. The 0.55 inch projection keeps the pull close to the face, useful on installations near appliances or tight walkways where extra stand-off would interfere.

Details That Support Repeatable Cabinet Installations

The 160 mm center to center measurement on this pull allows installers to rely on a single drilling dimension across an entire job, which streamlines jig setup and reduces layout time. The use of 8-32 x 1 inch screws as the mounting interface means the pull mates with a familiar fastener size, helping maintain consistency with other US-threaded cabinet hardware on the project. Zinc die cast construction produces a uniform pull body, so each piece in a multi-pull run matches shape and feel, which helps doors and drawers operate consistently from one cabinet to the next. The 1.2 inch width gives users a stable gripping surface, which reduces the chance of fingers slipping along the edge when pulling. Combined with the 0.55 inch projection, that width supports a comfortable grip while keeping the handle profile modest for a clean line across cabinet faces.
