Tafisa L765 Midnight Sun melamine is a thermo-fused decorative panel that bonds top and bottom impregnated layers to a particle board core, creating a unified sheet that handles like a standard board while presenting a finished surface on both faces. The board is 3/4 inch thick and sized 49 x 97 inches, so it works as a full panel for cabinet components or casework layouts that benefit from a slightly oversize format for trimming and squaring. The panel is double sided with the L765 Midnight Sun color, giving the same visual tone on both faces for doors, partitions, or exposed interiors that need consistent appearance when viewed from multiple angles. An Isola texture is pressed into the decorative surfaces during thermo-fusing, adding a tactile finish that stays tied to the panel rather than a separate laminate layer.
This Tafisa melamine particle board panel is manufactured in one step, where both decorative faces are pressed and thermo-fused to the core, so each cut part maintains its bonded finish without separate lamination during fabrication. The 49 x 97 inch format gives slightly more length than a 4 x 8 sheet, offering extra material for saw kerfs, edge cleanup, and part nesting when planning cabinet runs or fixture layouts. With the L765 Midnight Sun color present on both sides, offcuts can often be used for visible components, because either face presents the same tone and texture. The 3/4 inch construction aligns with many standard fabrication setups, supporting straightforward integration into existing cutting patterns and assembly methods.
This Tafisa L765 Midnight Sun melamine board serves projects that need a decorative surface tied directly to a particle board core, such as casework, cabinet boxes, and interior partitions where both structure and finish come from a single sheet. The double-sided L765 Midnight Sun color supports applications like open shelving or room dividers where both faces remain visible, keeping the appearance consistent throughout the project. Because the decorative layers are impregnated and thermo-fused on both the top and bottom, each cut panel segment carries the same fused finish, which supports use in doors, end panels, and interior cabinet components drawn from the same sheet. The Isola texture helps define the visual character of the surface, so repeating that texture across multiple panels from the same board maintains a coordinated look.
The 49 x 97 inch size provides an expanded field over standard 4 x 8 dimensions, letting layout plans fit longer parts or more components per sheet while still allowing trimming to final size. With a 3/4 inch thickness, the panel aligns with many shelf and cabinet side designs that rely on that dimension for joinery proportions and edge treatment. The particle board core provides a uniform internal structure under the decorative melamine layers, which supports predictable performance across the sheet when cutting repeated parts for runs of cabinets or fixtures. Since the color is mirrored on both faces, orienting pieces for grain direction or pattern continuity focuses on the Isola texture rather than mismatched front and back surfaces.
The one-step manufacturing process, where decorative layers are pressed and thermo-fused to the particle board, creates a stable relationship between surface and core that behaves consistently during routing and drilling, which is important when setting up jigs or CNC programs. Having the L765 Midnight Sun color on both sides means orientation decisions during layout can prioritize hardware placement and edge-banding flow, since either face presents the same finish. The Isola texture, formed during pressing, repeats across the full 49 x 97 inch area, helping installers and fabricators carry the same surface feel from larger panels down to smaller parts such as drawer fronts or narrow fillers. The 3/4 inch thickness offers compatibility with many standard construction details that rely on this dimension for hinge cup boring depths, shelf pin layouts, or dado sizing based on a uniform panel thickness.
The particle board core running through the full sheet provides a continuous substrate beneath the thermo-fused melamine, supporting uniform edge conditions when cutting components of varying sizes from a single panel. Because both the top and bottom decorative layers are impregnated and fused to the core at the same time, the sheet maintains alignment between surface design and internal structure, which benefits repetitive cuts and helps maintain consistent edges across a full production run. The extended 49 x 97 inch panel size can help consolidate cutting patterns, reducing the number of seams in larger installations where longer cabinet sides or tall partitions are drawn from a single board.
This Tafisa melamine board has a particle board core, which provides a uniform substrate under the decorative layers for machining, drilling, and edge treatment.
The decorative top and bottom layers are pressed and thermo-fused to the particle board in one step, so the surfaces act as part of the panel during fabrication.
The Tafisa L765 Midnight Sun melamine board is double sided with the L765 Midnight Sun color, giving the same finish on both faces of each cut part.
This melamine panel has an Isola texture pressed into the decorative layers, providing a defined tactile surface across the entire sheet.
The Tafisa Midnight Sun melamine panel is 3/4 inch thick and measures 49 x 97 inches, giving a full-size board for cabinet and casework layouts.
Both faces of this Tafisa melamine board are finished with the L765 Midnight Sun decorative surface, so either side can be used as a visible face.
The Tafisa L765 Midnight Sun melamine panel combines a particle board core with thermo-fused decorative layers on both faces, offering a 3/4 inch, 49 x 97 inch sheet that supports consistent cabinet and casework layouts. The double-sided L765 Midnight Sun color and Isola texture carry through every cut piece, helping projects maintain a unified appearance from large panels to small components. For work that benefits from a single sheet providing structure, color, and texture on both sides, this Tafisa melamine board offers a practical, project-ready panel format.
