Amerock Surpass 6-5/16 inch pull defines a cabinet handle with a 160 mm center-to-center mounting span, which sets consistent hole spacing across doors and drawers for a unified layout. The pull is part of the Surpass collection, whose bowing, rounded forms provide a smooth grip profile that feels comfortable when operating heavier fronts. Stepped pedestal feet at each end visually anchor the pull, so runs of cabinets gain a clean termination point that reads well in straight lines. The handle is finished in Matte Black, which delivers a simple, bold color statement that reads clearly against light and mid-tone surfaces. This Matte Black finish is described as unmistakably striking, giving designers and installers a predictable way to create contrast on face frames or slab fronts. Branded under Allison by Amerock, the pull fits into Amerock decorative cabinet hardware families intended to add a finishing touch.
The Surpass 6-5/16 inch pull uses its 160 mm center-to-center measurement as the drilling reference, so installers can lay out holes using metric or fractional templates without guessing. This fixed spacing helps align multiple pulls along a bank of drawers, keeping the bowing, rounded forms consistent from front to front. The stepped pedestal feet provide clear visual edges, which assists when centering the pull on stile widths or drawer faces. With a Matte Black finish, the pull reads crisply during layout on primed or finished doors, so alignment marks remain easy to see around the mounting points. As decorative hardware from Amerock, it fits into cabinet workflows where matching pulls are deployed across kitchens, baths, or built-ins using the same center-to-center pattern.
The Surpass collection is described as a nod to refreshed craftsman style, so this 6-5/16 inch pull pairs well with projects aiming for that aesthetic on cabinet doors and drawers. Its bowing, rounded forms lend themselves to both framed and frameless cabinet construction, because the soft curve reads cleanly on rail-and-stile fronts as well as flat slab faces. Stepped pedestal feet at each end of the pull echo traditional base details, which can coordinate with cabinet profiles or furniture-style toe kicks in woodworking applications. With a 160 mm center-to-center span, the pull suits medium to larger doors and drawer fronts where a more substantial handle length helps visually balance the face. The Matte Black finish is described as the backdrop of starred skies and elegant evenings, so it supports darker design schemes or strong contrasts on lighter woodgrains and paints. As decorative hardware within Amerock cabinet hardware families, it is positioned for use anywhere a finishing touch on cabinetry matters.
The defined 6-5/16 inch, or 160 mm, center-to-center dimension lets cabinet shops program drilling equipment or jigs around a repeatable standard, reducing layout variation between runs. This precise spacing means that when multiple Amerock Surpass 160mm center to center pulls are used, each handle aligns predictably along the same horizontal or vertical grid. The bowing, rounded forms help reduce sharp transition points at the hand contact area, which can matter on frequently operated doors in kitchens or workrooms. Stepped pedestal feet create a stable visual base, so when the pull is centered on a drawer front, the feet read as intentional design elements rather than abrupt terminations. The Matte Black finish is characterized as unmistakably striking, giving designers a clearly defined dark tone to coordinate with hinges, decorative hooks, or other Amerock decorative cabinet hardware in the same space. The Amerock BP36896FB part number ties all of these traits to a single, identifiable pull, which supports ordering consistency across phased cabinet installations.
