Transitional overhang bar bracket corbel describes a corbel designed for supporting and finishing overhang applications while matching a transitional style. The 10 x 10 x 4-3/4 inch dimensions define a substantial wood component that helps installers plan clearances and layout for bar or counter overhangs. Being part of the Corbels product class keeps this piece squarely in decorative hardware and moldings work, so it fits naturally into trim, bar face, and architectural millwork projects. The alder construction, identified in the product name, gives a consistent wood species to match other alder components on the same job. The Pro Value Series branding identifies it as part of a defined series, which supports repeat selection across multiple projects using the same look and sizing. Made of unfinished wood, this corbel arrives ready for field finishing so the installer can match existing stain or paint systems on site.
The 10 inch by 10 inch by 4-3/4 inch sizing gives fixed reference points for height, projection, and width, which streamlines planning when spacing corbels along a bar or counter overhang. Because the product is made of unfinished wood, finish work can be scheduled after dry fitting, allowing the installer to sand, detail, and then finish to match adjacent decorative hardware and moldings. The alder material named in the product title keeps the substrate uniform, so fabricators working in alder can align grain and color as they integrate this corbel into surrounding trim and cabinetry.
The product name defines this as a transitional overhang bar bracket corbel, which positions it for bar fronts, counter overhangs, and similar decorative hardware and moldings locations. The 10 inch height noted in the naming allows it to sit comfortably under typical bar tops, giving a visible support element that aligns with common counter thicknesses. The 10 inch dimension also signals usable projection or length for visual balance, helping designers proportion the corbel to the depth of the overhang. At 4-3/4 inches wide, the corbel has enough body to read as a substantial element without overwhelming smaller runs of cabinetry or trim. Being alder, it fits installations where alder doors, frames, and moldings are already specified, helping create a continuous appearance across the project. Because it is made of unfinished wood, the same stain schedule used on surrounding alder components can be carried directly onto this piece.
Working with a clearly defined 10 x 10 x 4-3/4 inch alder corbel allows installers to repeat layouts from one job to the next, since the key dimensions remain constant under the SZDW11066AL part number. The transitional style called out in the product naming aligns with projects that sit between traditional and contemporary, so designers can reuse this same corbel across different interiors without changing the part. The unfinished wood construction simplifies finishing sequences, because the corbel can be sanded, primed, stained, or painted on the same schedule as doors, face frames, and other decorative hardware and moldings. The Pro Value Series brand connection helps shops standardize on a known corbel source within their regular Wurth Baer Supply ordering. Since the product is classified under Corbels within Decorative Hardware & Moldings, it fits naturally into existing takeoff lists, reducing time spent cross-referencing alternative shapes or sizes on each project.
