Advice and support from knowledgeable professionals.
classic bar bracket corbel describes this Pro Value Series corbel as a decorative wood support sized for bar and similar applications. The stated 9 x 6-1/2 x 4-3/4 inch dimensions define a medium footprint, which helps plan layout under counters or shelving where proportional support pieces are needed. Being classified under Decorative Hardware & Moldings and Corbels identifies it as a trim component, so it can visually finish a woodworking project while contributing structural presence where supports are desired. The alder material specified in the product name establishes that it is an alder wood corbel, which matters when matching species across cabinetry or millwork. The SAP and manufacturer part references, COR10127AL and SZDW11150AL, uniquely identify this exact pattern and size, which simplifies reordering the same profile across multiple jobs or phases.
The defined 9 x 6-1/2 x 4-3/4 inch size gives installers precise overall boundaries to work with, so cut lists and mounting positions can be organized around a known profile instead of approximated dimensions. Because the web description specifies made of unfinished wood, the surface arrives ready for sanding and finishing steps as part of the normal shop or jobsite workflow. This matters when alder is required to visually coordinate with existing cabinetry, since the same stain system can be applied across doors, moldings, and this corbel. The alder identification in the product name keeps wood species straightforward when projects call for consistent material specification from one decorative element to the next.
The description classic medium bar bracket corbel positions this piece for bar and similar counter applications where a corbel-style support is desired. With its 6-1/2 inch depth, the corbel suits layouts that call for a moderate projection from face frames or wall surfaces, keeping it in proportion with typical overhang scenarios. The 9 inch height gives each corbel a noticeable vertical presence along bar fronts or wall runs, so spacing them on a regular module can create a repeated visual pattern. Classified under Decorative Hardware & Moldings and Corbels, it naturally integrates into trim packages for cabinetry, islands, or wall features that rely on wood elements rather than metal brackets. The alder material specified in the product name aligns it with alder cabinetry, allowing designers and installers to maintain one wood species throughout a room or project.
The combination of the COR10127AL identifier and the manufacturer part SZDW11150AL allows shops to reference a specific corbel profile in drawings or material lists, which helps avoid substitutions that change size or appearance mid-project. The explicit 9 x 6-1/2 x 4-3/4 inch dimensions anchor shop drawings and on-site layout, reducing rework caused by mismatched corbel sizes when aligning with panels, rails, or countertop edges. Because the web description confirms made of unfinished wood, finishing steps can be scheduled alongside other unfinished components, keeping stain and topcoat processes consolidated instead of split across different product finishes. The Pro Value Series brand reference groups this corbel with a broader line, so specifiers can maintain a consistent look by referencing the same series when choosing other decorative hardware and moldings.
