This is the Blum LEGRABOX 18 inch complete drawer system in F height (241mm / 9-1/2 inch sides), finished in Orion Gray Matte. It is a full-extension metal drawer system with integrated BLUMOTION soft-close, rated at 125 lb, and built for cabinets where drawer depth and tall side profiles matter.
The F height profile is the right choice when drawer contents are tall, bulky, or heavy. A 9-1/2 inch side holds a full row of stacked cast iron pans without the pot handles riding above the drawer wall. In a pantry cabinet, the same height keeps tall canned goods and bottles upright and organized rather than tipped. For shops and workrooms, an 18 inch nominal length at F height gives a large, stable drawer for tools, supplies, or reference materials. It is also a natural fit for deep file drawers where hanging folder tabs need clear vertical space above the rails. Any application that would overwhelm a standard mid-height drawer is the application this system was sized for.
LEGRABOX side profiles are double-walled steel: two formed walls with a hollow core that hides fasteners and delivers a smooth, uninterrupted face on both the inside and outside of the drawer. The Orion Gray Matte finish runs across the full LEGRABOX program, so side profiles, front fixings, cover caps, and AMBIA-LINE interior organization components all share the same color. That consistency matters in open-storage kitchens and in showroom displays where the interior is part of the design. The 18 inch (450mm) nominal length and F height components are engineered as a matched set; the runner, side profiles, and back are all sized to work together at this depth.
LEGRABOX is a platform, not a slide-and-box combination. The drawer sides, runner, and front fixings are designed together, and the cabinet must be built to the system's stated cabinet depth and drawer box width formula for the 450mm nominal length. Front fixings are sold as a separate LEGRABOX-specific accessory and must match the F height and the drawer width. If the project uses AMBIA-LINE interior organization, choose AMBIA-LINE components sized for the F height side. Cabinet shops running LEGRABOX in volume typically keep the matching drilling jig and front-adjustment templates on hand. Face-frame installations require LEGRABOX-compatible rear mounting brackets, sold separately, and the box must be built to the system's specification including any required rear notch and locking-device drilling. Cross-brand accessories — front fixings, locking devices, and brackets from other drawer system families — are not compatible with LEGRABOX.
This is a complete drawer system set — the steel side profiles and integrated BLUMOTION runner arrive together. Front fixing brackets and drawer fronts are specified and ordered separately to match your drawer width and front panel thickness.
F height is the tallest standard LEGRABOX profile at 241mm (9-1/2 inches). M height is the mid-range option for standard kitchen drawers; K height is the low-profile choice for shallow cutlery and utensil drawers. Choose F height when the contents are tall or the drawer needs maximum storage volume.
Yes. Orion Gray Matte is a shared finish across the LEGRABOX platform, and AMBIA-LINE organization components — dividers, frames, and inserts — are available in the same Orion Gray Matte so the interior looks consistent throughout.
Yes, with the appropriate LEGRABOX rear mounting brackets for face-frame construction, sold separately. The drawer box must also be built to the system's specification for the 450mm nominal length, including any rear notch and locking-device drilling the installation requires.
The system is rated at 125 lb. That is the rating for this complete drawer system as stated in the product attributes; it is not doubled or adjusted per individual runner.
When the application demands tall sides, full access, and a smooth close under heavy loads, the LEGRABOX F height system in Orion Gray Matte delivers the capacity and finish consistency the job calls for.
