Hickory Hardware American Diner pull gives cabinets and drawers a classic 50s look with a modern twist, so installers can match projects to a defined design style. This pull is identified as Belwith Keeler American Diner Series with manufacturer part P2157-MB, which lets specifiers call out the exact piece on plans and reorders. The center to center dimension of 7-9/16 inches, also listed as 192 mm, provides a long gripping area that suits wider cabinet fronts. A total length of 8-3/4 inches means the pull visually spans more of the door or drawer face, which helps create a balanced layout across multiple openings. The matte black finish sets a dark, even tone, which supports contrast on light cabinetry and a uniform line of hardware across an entire run.
The 192 mm center to center drilling dimension allows installers to base all door and drawer layouts on a single fixed measurement, which reduces layout time when repeating the same pull across a kitchen or bank of cabinets. At 7-9/16 inches between mounting points and 8-3/4 inches total length, this pull reaches across more of the panel, which helps align hardware visually with wider drawer fronts or taller doors. The 1-1/8 inch projection defines the stand-off from the surface, giving fingers room to grab behind the pull while keeping the handle from protruding excessively into walkways. A 7/8 inch width offers a defined grip area without overwhelming narrow rails, which supports use on both doors and drawers within the same series.
The Hickory Hardware American Diner Series 7-9/16 inch (192 mm) center to center matte black pull fits projects seeking a consistent American Diner era look across kitchens, baths, or built-ins, because the design is described as classic 50s with a modern twist. The 8-3/4 inch length suits wider cabinet doors and drawers where a longer handle visually balances the panel, so multiple fronts read as a coordinated set. With a projection of 1-1/8 inches, the pull extends enough from the door or drawer to give a clear handhold, which supports everyday operation on frequently used cabinets. The 7/8 inch width keeps the handle visually streamlined, allowing rows of these pulls to sit neatly along upper and lower cabinets without appearing bulky.
The 192 mm center to center measurement ties directly to common metric drilling jigs, which lets installers repeat mounting locations quickly on face frame or frameless cabinets. Because the pull length is 8-3/4 inches while the drilling dimension is 7-9/16 inches, the ends overhang the screw points slightly, giving a finished look that hides minor layout variation. The 1-1/8 inch projection keeps the gripping point away from the cabinet face, which helps reduce contact between fingers and door surfaces during use. The 7/8 inch width creates a defined edge profile, so each pull presents a consistent line when aligned across a bank of drawers or tall units. The matte black finish ties these dimensions together with a single dark tone that reads uniformly along the entire installation.
