Hickory Hardware Skylight Pull 8-13/16" (224 mm) Center to Center, Matte Black, HH075422-MB

Matte Black Cabinet Pull 224mm For Modern Runs

Matte Black Cabinet Pull 224mm describes a Hickory Hardware Skylight Series pull designed for modern cabinet layouts. The 224 mm center to center sizing sets the hole spacing, which matters when lining up multiple fronts in long banks of doors or drawers. The overall length of 8-13/16 inches provides a substantial hand grip, which helps when opening larger or heavier cabinet fronts. The matte black finish adds a bold, dramatic look, so runs read as intentional design elements instead of disappearing. This pull is part of the Skylight collection, whose linear forms support clean, straight visual lines across cabinetry. That linear geometry helps keep reveals looking square and consistent, especially on frameless or contemporary installations. The pull is classified as decorative cabinet hardware, so it functions as both a working handle and a visible design feature on finished millwork.

Installation Impact Of 224mm Center To Center

The 224 mm center to center dimension on this Belwith Keeler pull fixes the exact distance between mounting points, which guides boring patterns on doors and drawers. That consistent spacing helps installers repeat hole locations across a full run of cabinetry without layout guesswork. The linear Skylight design works with this fixed spacing to keep pulls aligned visually, which matters where doors stack vertically or drawers line up horizontally. The 8-13/16 inch length paired with the 224 mm hole spread positions the hand grip well away from door edges, which can support comfortable operation on both base and wall cabinets. Because the pull is decorative hardware for cabinets, it is suited to typical cabinet door and drawer thicknesses found in woodworking projects.

Using The Hickory Hardware Skylight Pull In Millwork

Where The Skylight Series Cabinet Pull Works

This Hickory Hardware Skylight Series cabinet pull is identified as decorative cabinet hardware, so it is intended for cabinet doors and drawers rather than structural applications. The 224 mm center to center layout fits projects laid out in metric-based increments, which often appear in frameless and contemporary cabinet systems. The matte black finish aligns with modern spaces, where strong contrast against light or wood-grain fronts is common. The web description notes that darker finishes like this are a strong option for a modern farmhouse look, which connects this pull to that style of kitchen or built-in work. Because the pull is part of a broader Skylight collection, it can be used where a consistent linear handle style is desired across base cabinets, wall cabinets, and tall storage units in the same space.

Why This Matte Black Cabinet Pull Supports Consistency

The linear forms of the Skylight collection shape how this pull reads on finished cabinetry, creating straight, uninterrupted lines that run across multiple fronts. That geometry helps installers and designers keep a uniform sightline, reducing visual distractions along drawer stacks or door rows. The matte black finish interacts with that linear profile to create clear outlines, which makes hardware positions easy to read and align by eye during layout. The 224 mm center to center measurement converts directly into boring distances, which can streamline jig setup for repetitive drilling on shop-built components. The 8-13/16 inch overall length keeps the pull proportionally balanced around that mounting spread, which can support a consistent look when mixing this size with other pieces from the same decorative hardware family.
