Laurey 89993 Melrose pull is a stainless steel pull from the Melrose Collection designed for cabinets and drawers that benefit from an oversized handle. The pull measures 18 inches center to center, so it spans wide drawer fronts and larger cabinet doors to give a long, continuous grip surface that feels solid in everyday use. The overall length is 22 inches, which visually anchors larger faces and lines up well across multiple fronts in a run of cabinets. Constructed of steel, the pull provides a rigid feel that supports repeated opening and closing without flex. The stainless steel finish presents a clean, modern look that pairs well with many cabinet colors and gives a consistent appearance across a project when the same pull is repeated.
The 18 inch center to center measurement on the Laurey 89993 Melrose pull defines the exact distance between mounting points, which guides layout for drilling and helps align the pull with door and drawer proportions. When new work is planned around this dimension, hole locations can be marked and drilled in a predictable sequence, saving layout time on repetitive cabinet banks. On replacement jobs that match this 18 inch center to center spacing, the pull can align with existing holes so the hardware change maintains a clean face without additional boring. The 22 inch overall length then sits slightly beyond the mounting points, spreading visual weight across the panel and helping balance tall or wide fronts.
The Laurey oversized cabinet pull with its 18 inch center to center span fits wide drawers, tall pantry doors, and larger cabinet faces where a standard small pull might look undersized. On banks of base cabinets, repeating the Laurey 89993 Melrose pull across multiple wide drawers creates a straight visual line that ties the run together and highlights the horizontal layout. On tall doors, the 22 inch overall length visually fills more of the stile, which helps the hardware feel proportionate to the door height. The stainless steel finish lets the pull sit comfortably in contemporary spaces that already feature stainless steel appliances or fixtures, so the hardware reads as part of a cohesive design rather than a separate accent.
The specific 18 inch center to center dimension on the Laurey 89993 Melrose pull supports accurate repetition because installers can set jigs or templates to that fixed spacing and reuse them across every cabinet front. This precision reduces layout variability from piece to piece, which helps keep long runs of cabinets visually straight. The 22 inch overall length gives a predictable overhang beyond the mounting points, so designers can anticipate how much of the pull will occupy the door or drawer face and plan spacing from edges or adjacent hardware accordingly. Steel construction paired with a stainless steel finish provides a known combination that holds its shape under daily hand force, which is valuable on frequently used drawers and doors in kitchens, baths, and workrooms. Being part of the Melrose Collection also lets projects standardize on this exact pull style, helping streamline selection when the same look is desired across multiple rooms or phases.
