This 16 inch LEGRABOX C Height complete drawer system from Blum pairs the platform's engineered steel construction with a Silk White Matte finish and integrated BLUMOTION soft-close, making it the right choice wherever a bright, painted interior needs hardware that disappears cleanly into the design.
The C Height is Blum's mid-to-tall side profile, and at 177mm it suits the widest range of kitchen and bath applications: a lower cabinet drawer holding heavy cookware, a pantry pull-out stacked with canned goods, or a bathroom vanity drawer carrying bottles and tools. Full extension means the drawer comes entirely out of the cabinet opening, so the person using it — whether a homeowner or a client in a spec'd kitchen — never has to reach blind into the back. The 16 inch (400mm) nominal length fits standard cabinet depths found across residential and light commercial cabinetry, with LEGRABOX system components all keyed to that same nominal length so sides, runners, and front fixings go together as one set.
The Silk White Matte coating is matched across the LEGRABOX program, so this system reads as a deliberate design choice rather than a compromise. Steel construction throughout means the side profiles carry the rated load without deflection, and the double-walled profile presents a clean surface on the inside and outside of the drawer — no visible fasteners, no rough edges. BLUMOTION is built into the runner, not clipped on after the fact, so the damping is consistent from day one and the interior stays uncluttered. If your project calls for interior organization, Blum's AMBIA-LINE inserts — cutlery trays, cross dividers, spice trays, and knife holders — are engineered specifically for LEGRABOX drawers and coordinate with the Silk White finish family.
Cabinet shops running painted door and finish programs will find the Silk White Matte sides the cleanest match to white shaker, slab, or inset fronts — the finish wraps the drawer opening without the contrast a gray or steel interior would create. Designers specifying handle-less kitchens or minimalist bath furniture get a system capable of push-to-open pairing (via Blum's TIP-ON or TIP-ON BLUMOTION, sold separately) while keeping the interior bright and uniform. Contractors and homeowners upgrading existing cabinetry can drop a LEGRABOX system into the cabinet depth and get immediate performance gains: soft-close damping, full access to the drawer contents, and a load rating that won't be an issue in any residential application.
This is a complete LEGRABOX drawer system — the steel side profiles and integrated runners arrive as one engineered unit. You supply the drawer front, drawer bottom, and back panel cut to the system's specification. Front fixing brackets are sold separately and are LEGRABOX-specific.
LEGRABOX drawers use Blum's AMBIA-LINE interior organization program — flatware trays, cross dividers, utensil inserts, spice trays, and more. AMBIA-LINE is engineered for LEGRABOX and is not interchangeable with ORGA-LINE, which belongs to the TANDEMBOX platform.
Yes. Blum's TIP-ON BLUMOTION units combine mechanical push-to-open with damped closing in one system and are compatible with LEGRABOX. Plain mechanical push-to-open (TIP-ON without BLUMOTION) works differently and trades away the soft-close function, so confirm which unit fits your application before ordering.
It is designed to coordinate with white painted casework. For the closest match, review the Silk White Matte finish alongside your door and case finish before committing to a full run — finish perception varies by lighting and adjacent materials.
The 125 lb rating is per complete drawer system — the working capacity for the installed drawer as a unit, not a per-slide figure.
A LEGRABOX C Height system in Silk White Matte brings full-extension access, 125 lb capacity, and BLUMOTION soft-close into a finish that reads cleanly in painted interiors — the hardware works with the design rather than showing through it.
