This 26 inch LEGRABOX drawer system brings Blum's double-walled steel platform to kitchens and casework designed around a clean white interior. The M-height side profile at 90.5mm (3-9/16 inches) pairs with the Silk White Matte finish to deliver a fitted, consistent look across every drawer in the run — cutlery drawer to deep pan pull-out. BLUMOTION soft-close is integrated into the runner, and the system is rated for 170 lb per pair.
The Silk White Matte finish is the right call when the rest of the interior — front fixings, back panels, and any AMBIA-LINE organization inserts — needs to read as one coordinated surface. White-painted or thermofoil fronts close against it cleanly, and light-toned handleless kitchens benefit from a drawer interior that doesn't contrast against the front when the box opens. The M height is a practical starting point for a mixed run: tall enough for stacked plates or a deep utensil arrangement, compact enough that two drawers stack inside a standard base cabinet. At 26 inches, the nominal length suits most standard base-cabinet depths and is a common choice for kitchen banks running 24- to 27-inch deep carcasses.
LEGRABOX sides are double-walled steel — two walls with a hollow core that hides fasteners and presents a smooth face on both the inner and outer surfaces. That construction eliminates the visible hardware lines that show on single-wall systems and gives the drawer a substantial feel through the full 650mm travel. The Silk White Matte coating is factory-applied to both the inner and outer face of the profile, so the finish stays consistent along the drawer length rather than showing raw steel at the runner attachment points. BLUMOTION damping is built into the runner, not clipped on afterward, so the soft-close action is part of the system rather than an add-on that can loosen over time.
Cabinet shops running white-interior kitchen projects reach for this system when they need a consistent Silk White surface from side to side and front to back. Designers specifying handle-less or slab-front kitchens where the interior is visible at every open benefit from a finish that holds up as a design surface, not just a structural component. The 170 lb capacity makes it practical for heavy-use residential drawers — think a full set of everyday dishes, a stocked pantry drawer, or a pots-and-lids pull-out — without sizing up to a specialty heavy-duty product. Builders replicating a white-kitchen finish across multiple units can run this system in the M height throughout and swap only the front to change the drawer's character.
The LEGRABOX system set includes the paired double-walled steel sides and runners for one drawer at the 650mm (26 inch) nominal length. Front fixing brackets, back panels, and AMBIA-LINE interior inserts are sold separately and matched to this system and height code.
Silk White Matte is Blum's specific finish for LEGRABOX components and may read slightly differently from a third-party white front. Request a physical sample alongside your front material before specifying across a full kitchen run.
Yes. AMBIA-LINE is the organization line engineered for LEGRABOX drawers; inserts in Orion Gray Matte and stainless steel are available in this catalog. Select inserts sized to the M height and to the 650mm nominal length for a fitted result.
170 lb is the per-pair rating — that is the working capacity for one complete drawer installation using both runners.
The 650mm (26 inch) nominal length is sized for standard base cabinets with approximately 24 to 27 inches of usable depth. Check Blum's published cabinet cutting dimensions for the exact rear-of-cabinet clearance this system requires.
The Silk White Matte LEGRABOX M-height system gives white-kitchen projects a drawer platform that holds its finish, its capacity, and its soft-close action across the life of the installation — so the interior looks intentional, not incidental, every time the drawer opens.
