Amerock Surpass 3 inch pull is a cabinet handle from Amerock Corporation designed for decorative use on doors and drawers where a 3 inch (76 mm) center-to-center hole pattern is already drilled, so it works with common layouts in many shops and homes. The Surpass collection uses bowing, rounded forms with stepped, pedestal feet, creating a distinct profile that reads cleanly on face frames or slab fronts during installation and later adjustments. This pull is finished in Oil-Rubbed Bronze, so its rich burnished surface with copper brush marks adds depth where cabinets need visual weight without changing the basic footprint. The pull sits within Amerock's Handles and Pulls product class, helping it align with other Amerock decorative hardware when a project needs consistent styling across a run of cabinets.
This Surpass 3 inch (76 mm) center-to-center pull is designed around a fixed 3 inch hole spacing, so it installs where that spread is already drilled or planned on doors and drawer fronts. The handle profile is a bowing shape with rounded forms, so once mounted it provides a clear handhold without sharp transitions when users grab from different angles. Stepped, pedestal feet define the contact points at the cabinet surface, which establishes a visual boundary for the pull footprint on the face of the door or drawer. The Oil-Rubbed Bronze finish with visible copper brush marks presents a burnished surface at touch points, which affects how the pull reads under changing light across a busy workday.
The Amerock BP36897ORB Surpass 3 inch (76 mm) center-to-center pull is intended for cabinet applications where a decorative handle is needed within the Handles and Pulls category, so it suits installations on kitchen, bath, or shop cabinetry using standard boring patterns. Its classification as decorative hardware and moldings, specifically handles and pulls, defines its role as a visible operating point on doors and drawers rather than hidden functional hardware. The Surpass collection design, with bowing, rounded forms, works on both traditional and refreshed craftsman-influenced layouts, so it can bridge styles when cabinets mix simple lines with more detailed elements. Stepped, pedestal feet create a more architectural base at each attachment point, which helps the pull read as a deliberate design feature instead of a plain bar.
The Oil-Rubbed Bronze finish on this Surpass pull has a rich burnished nature with copper brush marks, so it adds depth to cabinet faces by catching light differently across its surface. This finish embraces an old-world artistry look, which matters on projects where the hardware is intended to highlight craftsmanship rather than disappear. When placed against painted or stained fronts, the darker bronze body with copper accents can either contrast light colors or complement deeper tones, shaping how the overall run of cabinets presents in the finished room. Being part of Amerock's broader decorative cabinet hardware and home solutions line, this pull can sit alongside other Amerock pieces to maintain a coherent finish and style story through adjacent doors, drawers, and nearby hardware elements.
The fixed 3 inch (76 mm) center-to-center measurement on the BP36897ORB Surpass pull means drilling and layout follow a predictable standard, which supports repeatable installations across multiple cabinet fronts in a project. This standard spacing is common in decorative hardware, so using it streamlines planning when aligning several pulls along a bank of drawers or doors. The bowing, rounded form of the Surpass handle offers a defined gripping surface while avoiding hard edges, which is relevant wherever users will repeatedly operate cabinet fronts through the day. Its stepped, pedestal feet create consistent visual endpoints at each mounting location, helping a row of pulls look aligned when viewed from across a room.
The Oil-Rubbed Bronze finish with visible copper brush marks adds depth to the profile, so each pull contributes to the visual rhythm of a cabinet run instead of appearing flat. That finish character supports projects referencing old-world artistry, where the burnished look signals more crafted hardware choices. Because Amerock has offered decorative and functional cabinet hardware and related home solutions since 1928, the Surpass pull sits within a long-running design program aimed at helping homeowners express personal style, which matters when installers coordinate multiple hardware elements from the same source. Amerock also offers a variety of styles and finishes at affordable prices, so specifying this pull can align with other Amerock options when a project balances look and budget without changing brands.
