This is the 14 inch (350mm) cabinet-mounted runner profile for Blum's LEGRABOX drawer system, finished in Zinc. It is the cabinet member that mounts inside the cabinet body and carries the drawer through its full-extension, soft-close travel — one component in the engineered LEGRABOX platform rather than a standalone slide.
The cabinet profile is the fixed half of the LEGRABOX running system. It mounts to the cabinet sidewall or frameless boring pattern and provides the track that the drawer-side profile rides on. In face-frame cabinets, this profile requires the appropriate LEGRABOX face-frame rear mounting hardware — it does not mount directly against a face-frame rail without those components. A complete functioning drawer at this nominal length also requires the matching drawer-side profiles, front fixing brackets, and a drawer box built to Blum's published specification for LEGRABOX, including drawer side thickness and rear notch drilling. None of those components are included with this profile.
The profile is formed steel, finished in Zinc — one of the standard LEGRABOX system colors. Zinc coordinates with the LEGRABOX Zinc side profiles and front fixings, keeping the interior of the drawer unit visually consistent from cabinet wall to drawer front. If your LEGRABOX build uses a different system finish, such as Orion Gray or Stainless Steel, select the cabinet profile in the matching color so the runner and drawer-side members align. LEGRABOX finish components are not interchangeable across color families.
Cabinet shops building LEGRABOX drawers into upper cabinets, bathroom vanities, or other shallow-depth casework reach for the 14 inch nominal length when cabinet depth limits the longer 450mm or 500mm standard options. Designers specifying handleless kitchens with push-to-open or SERVO-DRIVE fronts order by nominal length and finish to match the rest of their LEGRABOX specification. Contractors replacing a failed cabinet member on an existing LEGRABOX installation use the nominal length and finish from the original build to source a direct match. In all cases, this is one member of a multi-component system — the cabinet profile alone does not constitute a working drawer.
This is the cabinet-side runner profile only. A working LEGRABOX drawer also requires the drawer-side profiles, front fixing brackets, and a correctly built drawer box. Those parts are sold separately.
Yes, with the appropriate LEGRABOX face-frame rear mounting hardware. The profile does not mount directly against a face-frame rail on its own — the correct rear bracket for face-frame installation is required and sold separately.
LEGRABOX side profiles are designed to work with the system's own steel drawer sides, not a wood box built to a generic thickness. Build the drawer to Blum's published LEGRABOX cutting dimensions for this nominal length.
No. LEGRABOX finish components — cabinet profiles, drawer-side profiles, front fixings, and cover caps — are matched by color. Mixing Zinc hardware with Orion Gray or other finish members produces a mismatched interior.
The soft-close damping is integrated into the LEGRABOX runner system. You do not add a separate soft-close unit to this profile.
For shallow cabinets where a longer runner simply will not fit, this 14 inch Zinc cabinet profile is the system-correct foundation — full-extension travel, integrated soft-close, and an 88 lb capacity in the LEGRABOX platform's characteristic slim profile. Pair it with the matching drawer-side profiles and front fixings to complete the build.
