This 600mm Design Profile is the Stainless Steel illumination component for the Hettich AvanTech YOU drawer system, integrating a light-diffusing profile into the drawer interior to deliver both a polished aesthetic and functional illumination across the full depth of the box.
The Illumination Design Profile belongs at the intersection of drawer functionality and interior presentation. In kitchens where the drawer interior is on display — open-front cabinetry, handle-less designs with push-to-open, or any application where the box is visible at eye level — a bare metal side is a missed opportunity. This profile closes that gap by giving the AvanTech YOU drawer a finished, luminous inner face. It suits new installations being specified for upscale residential kitchens, bath vanities, and closet systems where the drawer box is part of the visual design, not just the working structure beneath a front.
The Stainless Steel finish positions this profile among the cooler, more industrial-leaning finish options in the AvanTech YOU line. It reads as a natural complement to stainless appliances, brushed nickel pulls, and gray or white cabinet interiors. The profile's material and surface are consistent with the AvanTech YOU system's other components, so the interior presents as a unified assembly rather than a mix of mismatched parts. Where sibling profiles in Anthracite or White lean toward warmer wood tones or matte painted interiors, Stainless Steel is the right call for high-contrast, modern material palettes.
Cabinet shops building AvanTech YOU drawer systems for high-specification kitchens will order this profile alongside their runners, side profiles, and front fixings to complete the interior presentation layer. Kitchen designers specifying a fully illuminated, handle-less kitchen will call it out specifically when the finish palette runs toward stainless and brushed metal. Contractors sourcing a replacement or completing a phased install on an existing AvanTech YOU project will find the 600mm length in Stainless Steel here as a direct component match. This is not a standalone accessory — it is a system part that completes the AvanTech YOU drawer at this nominal length.
No. The Illumination Design Profile is engineered for the AvanTech YOU system. It is not a universal Hettich component and will not seat correctly in Actro, Quadro, or other runner families.
The source data identifies this as a design profile within the AvanTech YOU Illumination series, but does not confirm whether a light source is included or sold separately. Verify the complete illumination system configuration — drive unit, light strip, and power components — with the AvanTech YOU documentation before ordering.
This SKU is the 600mm length in Stainless Steel. Other nominal lengths in the AvanTech YOU Illumination program may be available; select the length that matches your runner and side profile nominal length.
Stainless Steel presents a cool, bright metallic surface suited to contemporary and professional-grade kitchen aesthetics. Anthracite is a darker, matte-leaning finish that works better with dark cabinet interiors and matte black hardware. Choose based on the finish palette of the surrounding cabinetry and pulls.
Specifying the AvanTech YOU Illumination Design Profile in Stainless Steel at 600mm means the drawer box arrives at the finish line — every surface consistent, the lighting integrated, and the interior ready to be seen.
