Amerock Factor appliance pull from Amerock Corporation is an appliance pull designed for projects that call for a substantial handle on larger fronts. The product name specifies an 18 inch center to center dimension, so drill points land 18 inches apart, which helps align the pull visually on tall doors or appliance panels. The description also lists 457 mm center to center, matching common metric layouts and simplifying layout on metric-based cabinetry. The matte black finish called out in the product name gives a dark, uniform look that pairs cleanly with modern cabinet and appliance fronts. Being identified as part of the Factor Series ties this pull to a consistent Amerock design family, which matters when matching across doors, drawers, and appliance fronts on the same job.
The stated 18 inch center to center size gives a fixed drilling dimension from one mounting point to the other, so installers can work directly from that measurement instead of converting from overall length. The additional 457 mm center to center value in the product name matches metric tape and jig markings, which matters in shops or jobs relying on metric tooling. As an appliance pull in the decorative hardware and moldings category, this size is suited to taller fronts where a longer handle helps balance the visual weight. Using a defined center to center dimension also supports repeatable jig setups when multiple doors or panels need the same handle position.
This Amerock Factor Series matte black 18 inch (457 mm) center to center appliance pull is categorized under handles and pulls, positioning it for cabinet and appliance fronts in woodworking projects. Its classification as an appliance pull makes it a natural choice for refrigerator panels, tall pantry doors, or dishwashers where a smaller pull would look undersized. The matte black finish in the product name suits designs calling for strong contrast against light cabinetry or a unified dark hardware package. Because the description ties it to decorative hardware and moldings, it fits into projects where hardware is specified as part of the overall design, rather than purely utilitarian components. On full kitchen renovations or millwork packages, the Factor Series identity helps this pull act as the larger-scale counterpart to other Amerock pieces in the same family.
The clearly stated 18 inch (457 mm) center to center dimension lets installers base every drilling and jig setup on a single known measurement, reducing layout variations across multiple panels. That fixed center to center also helps designers position the pull consistently relative to door edges or panel reveals, which improves the visual line across a bank of tall units. Identifying the product as an appliance pull signals a grip length intended for heavier or taller fronts, so the handle scale better matches the load and proportion. The Amerock Factor Series label groups this pull with related designs, allowing a project to scale from standard cabinet pulls to this larger appliance pull without changing the design language. The matte black description further supports consistent results by delivering the same color reference wherever this part number BP36967FB is specified.
