Advice and support from knowledgeable professionals.
This is a right-hand plastic rear mounting socket for Euro-style drawer slides, designed to support the back end of a slide in face-frame cabinet construction. Sold in a box of 100, it gives production shops a ready supply of the correct-hand socket without mixing left and right into a single bag.
In a face-frame cabinet, the cabinet side panel sits behind the face frame, leaving the rear end of a Euro slide unsupported unless a rear mounting socket fills that gap. This right-hand socket screws to the cabinet back or rear rail on the right side of the opening and accepts the rear end of the slide, keeping the slide level and stable through its full travel. Without it, the rear of the slide can drop, causing the drawer to rack and bind, especially under load. The socket works as part of a complete installation: the right-hand socket on this side, the matching left-hand socket on the opposite side.
The socket is molded in plastic, which keeps the component light and makes it easy to handle during high-volume installs. Plastic rear sockets are the standard choice for Euro slide programs in residential and light-commercial cabinetry — they hold the slide end securely under normal drawer loads without adding weight or bulk to the cabinet back. The screw-on mount means no press-in boring is needed; standard production screws seat it in seconds.
Cabinet shops running Euro slides in face-frame construction are the core buyer here. If your line uses Euro roller or ball-bearing bottom-mount slides and your cabinets have a face frame, rear mounting sockets are part of every drawer opening — and running out mid-job is a production stoppage. The 100-piece pack keeps the parts bin stocked through a full run. This socket is right-hand only; order the matching left-hand version to complete each pair, and confirm the socket is specified for your Euro slide series before ordering.
Two per drawer — one right-hand socket and one left-hand socket, one for each side of the cabinet opening. This listing is the right-hand piece only.
Rear mounting sockets are built for face-frame construction, where the cabinet side is set back from the front frame. In a frameless cabinet, Euro slides screw directly to the flat interior side panel and do not need a rear socket.
This socket is designed for use with KV 1296-style Euro slides. Confirm that your slide series accepts this socket before ordering — rear sockets are not universally interchangeable across all Euro slide brands and series.
The socket uses standard screw-on mounting. Drive wood screws through the socket's mounting holes into the cabinet back or rear rail. Screw size will depend on your cabinet material and rail thickness.
A missing rear socket on one side is enough to hold up an entire drawer run. Stocking the right-hand and left-hand versions in production quantities means the parts are there when the slides go in — no delays, no short-shipment callbacks.
