This is the Grass Zargen left-hand rear mounting socket, a screw-on plastic adapter bracket that anchors the rear of a Zargen drawer system on the left side of the cabinet. Sold in a box of 500, it is a volume component for shops running Zargen-equipped production lines.
The Zargen system uses rear mounting sockets to support the back end of the drawer runner inside the cabinet. In face-frame and frameless cabinets alike, the rear bracket carries the runner's tail so the front locking device and the rear socket work together to hold the system square. This left-hand bracket handles the left wall; the cabinet side must provide a flat, accessible face for the screw-on attachment. Without a properly seated rear socket, the Zargen runner can drift out of plane under load, so the bracket is a required component of every Zargen drawer installation, not an optional add-on.
The bracket is molded in white plastic, which keeps weight low and resists the minor moisture variations common inside kitchen and bath cabinetry. The white finish is Zargen-system white, so it reads as a matched component rather than a contrasting one when visible during drawer removal. Plastic construction also means no corrosion concern at the rear panel contact point, even in humid environments. Because this is a system-specific component, it is engineered to the Zargen runner's geometry and is not interchangeable with rear brackets from other Grass series or other brands.
Cabinet shops building white-interior casework with the Zargen drawer system are the primary buyer. A box of 500 supports a production run rather than a single project; shops that specify Zargen throughout a kitchen or multifamily installation will move through rear sockets at the same rate as the runners themselves — two sockets per drawer, one on each side. Renovation contractors sourcing replacement hardware for existing Zargen-equipped cabinets will find the screw-on mounting straightforward without specialized tooling.
No. Rear mounting sockets are engineered for the specific runner geometry of their system. This bracket is built for the Zargen program and should not be used with Nova Pro Scala, Vionaro, or other Grass series.
One left-hand bracket covers the left wall of a single drawer installation. You also need the matching right-hand rear socket for the right wall. A box of 500 left-hand brackets supports 500 drawer-left positions, so order right-hand sockets in equal quantity to complete your installation count.
The bracket is screw-on mount, but the specific fastener size is not listed in the product data. Refer to the Grass Zargen installation guide for the recommended screw spec, or test with your standard cabinet-panel screws before committing to a production run.
The rear socket mounts to the cabinet side panel rather than the face frame, so it suits both construction types as long as the rear panel provides adequate material for the screws. Confirm your cabinet depth leaves the runner's rear end within reach of the bracket's mounting position.
A properly seated rear socket is what holds the Zargen runner in alignment from front to back. Stocking this component in the quantities your production schedule demands means every drawer leaves the shop installed correctly the first time.
