Classic Series wall cabinets Brownstone Dartmouth gives a 36 inch wide, 12 inch deep, 24 inch high wall cabinet that provides wall storage in the Dartmouth Brownstone line while keeping dimensions consistent with the rest of the run. Cabinet fronts are made from 3/4 inch solid maple wood, so the working face of the cabinet uses solid stock that stands up to regular door use over time. Rails are pocket drilled and assembled with 1 1/4 inch screws for rugged durability, which creates a mechanically fastened frame that resists racking during handling and hanging. Side panels and bottom use 1/2 inch plywood with matching exterior laminate glued and stapled in a 1/2 inch dado in the cabinet front frame, tying the box into the face frame for a tight, square carcass. Back panels of vinyl covered, inside only, 1/2 inch plywood are glued and nailed in a 1/2 inch dado and stapled to the hang rail and cabinet bottom, forming a rigid back to support wall mounting loads in normal cabinet layouts.
Back panels made from vinyl covered, inside only, 1/2 inch plywood are glued and nailed in a 1/2 inch dado and stapled to the hang rail and cabinet bottom, giving a continuous plywood back that pairs with the hang rail for typical wall mounting practices. The toekick is 4 1/2 inches high by 4 1/16 inches deep on standard cabinets, so this wall unit shares the same design family for aligning upper cabinets visually above matching base units in the Classic Series. All wood 3/4 inch corner blocks installed on all corners brace the front frame to the sides and bottom, which supports the cabinet structure when it is fastened at studs through the back or rails. The half depth adjustable shelf of 3/4 inch plywood with bull nosed, foil covered front edges rides on self locking 1/4 inch diameter clips, allowing installers to set shelf height to match stored items while the front edge remains finished and user friendly.
This Wolf Dartmouth Brownstone 36 inch wide by 12 inch deep by 24 inch high cabinet serves as a wall unit in layouts that call for a two door cabinet at this width and height. Two butt doors span the opening, providing a centered pair that suits common kitchen, bath, or utility wall runs in the Classic Series. Side panels and bottom of 1/2 inch plywood with matching exterior laminate, glued and stapled in a 1/2 inch dado in the cabinet front frame, allow this unit to sit alongside other Wolf Home Products cabinets while presenting a coordinated exterior surface. The toekick dimension of 4 1/2 inches high by 4 1/16 inches deep on standard cabinets defines the related base cabinet profile, so this upper cabinet can be aligned visually with bases from the same line for a consistent installed look. All wood 3/4 inch corner blocks on all corners help the cabinet hold its shape when joined to neighboring wall cabinets along a straight run.
Rails that are pocket drilled and assembled with 1 1/4 inch screws for rugged durability form a solid face frame foundation, giving installers a firm surface for handling, clamping, and fastening without the frame loosening under normal site conditions. Side panels and bottom seated in a 1/2 inch dado in the cabinet front frame and secured with glue and staples mean the box locates consistently against the frame, which supports predictable reveals along the door edges. Back panels of vinyl covered, inside only, 1/2 inch plywood glued and nailed in a 1/2 inch dado and stapled to the hang rail and cabinet bottom create a rigid shell, so the cabinet body resists bowing between studs when pulling it tight to the wall. All wood 3/4 inch corner blocks installed on all corners tie the frame, sides, and bottom together, which helps maintain squareness as multiple Wolf Home Products wall cabinets are ganged and leveled. The half depth adjustable shelf of 3/4 inch plywood with bull nosed, foil covered front edges, held by self locking 1/4 inch diameter clips, can be repositioned without extra tools, supporting quick field adjustments to interior layout after the cabinet is hung.
