Pilaster strips are the hardware that makes a fixed cabinet into a flexible one. Routed into the cabinet side panels, they accept shelf pins or clips at any notch along their height, so shelf positions can be changed as storage needs shift. This maple version earns its place in cabinetry where the interior finish matters: painted wood cabinets, natural wood face-frame builds, or any installation where a silver metal strip on a maple or birch panel would look like an afterthought.
