Emtek contemporary edge pull gives cabinets a clean way to open doors and drawers using a low-profile grip along the edge. The flat black finish identified as US19 creates a dark, uniform look that supports modern or transitional casework where contrast and sharp lines matter. The product name calls out a 6 inch center to center size, which sets the hole spacing and lets this pull act as a defined layout point on doors or drawer fronts. Being part of Emtek decorative hardware and moldings in the handles and pulls class ties this piece directly to cabinet and furniture work, so it fits naturally into shop layouts that already rely on Emtek styling. The manufacturer part number 87120US19 gives installers a repeatable way to reorder the exact same pull across multiple jobs or phases of a project.
This Emtek contemporary edge pull is identified as a cabinet edge pull, meaning it is intended to mount along the edge area of a door or drawer front where fingers naturally reach. The 6 inch center to center measurement dictates where fastening points land, so drilling layouts can be set once on a template and carried through an entire run. The flat black US19 finish keeps the visible surface uniform after installation, which matters when multiple pulls line up across upper and lower cabinets in the same room. As a handles and pulls product within decorative hardware and moldings, it fits straightforwardly into typical cabinet construction sequences where pulls are installed after finishing.
The web description identifies this product as a cabinet edge pull, so its primary use is on cabinet doors and drawers where a slim grip is preferred along the edge rather than a projecting handle. The 6 inch center to center reference allows it to span a meaningful section of a door or drawer front, which supports comfortable hand contact on wider faces. Being part of Emtek decorative hardware positions this pull for use in residential or commercial millwork where coordinated hardware matters, such as kitchens, baths, and built-ins. The flat black US19 finish lets it read as a strong visual line on lighter casework or as a subdued detail on dark finishes, giving designers predictable visual impact when laying out hardware.
The clearly stated 6 inch center to center spacing gives installers a fixed measurement for boring operations, which supports repeatable hardware placement across banks of cabinets and reduces layout variation between units. Using the manufacturer part number 87120US19 ties drawings, orders, and on-site hardware to the same specific pull, limiting mix-ups when similar styles are present in a project. The US19 flat black callout provides a defined finish standard, so replacements or additions match existing hardware without color drift. Positioning within the handles and pulls class under decorative hardware and moldings signals that this edge pull is sized and styled for cabinet work, helping project planners assign it correctly in hardware schedules and maintain consistent function and appearance across the installation.
