Emtek Contemporary Edge Pull defines a modern cabinet grip that mounts on the edge of a door or drawer, which supports a streamlined look where the hand engages the profile instead of a projecting knob. The Emtek brand ties this pull directly to a decorative hardware manufacturer focused on cabinet use, so it fits naturally into woodworking and casework jobs. The 8"CC detail identifies this pull as having an 8-inch center-to-center dimension, which matters when aligning with pre-drilled holes or planning drilling locations across a run of doors. The oil rubbed bronze reference describes the US10B finish, which delivers a dark bronze tone that coordinates with other oil rubbed bronze hardware in the same space. The 87130US10B manufacturer part number clearly identifies this exact version of the pull, which helps match future orders and maintain consistency across multiple cabinet sections.
The 8"CC measurement on this Emtek Contemporary Edge Pull establishes the separation between mounting points, which guides installers when laying out holes along the cabinet edge so the pull sits straight and visually balanced. The edge pull style described in the product name indicates that this hardware engages at the edge of a door or drawer front, which influences how the front is drilled or notched to accept the pull body. The oil rubbed bronze US10B finish ties into other bronze components in a project, which can streamline decisions on hinge, knob, and pull selection to keep finishes consistent throughout the installation.
This Emtek Contemporary Edge Pull sits in the Decorative Hardware & Moldings category under Handles and Pulls, which positions it for cabinet, furniture, and similar woodworking applications where a finished decorative pull is required. The edge pull configuration described in the Web Description as a cabinet edge pull indicates it is intended to be mounted at the cabinet front edge, which works well on flat-panel doors and drawers that suit a contemporary style. The 8" center-to-center dimension provides a longer gripping span than shorter pulls, which can suit wider drawers or tall doors where users prefer a more substantial handhold along the edge. The oil rubbed bronze US10B finish supports designs that call for a dark, warm-toned metal accent, which can pair with stained woods and other bronze-finished components for a cohesive result.
The clearly stated 8"CC spacing on this Emtek cabinet edge pull allows fabricators to program drilling patterns or templates around a fixed dimension, which can speed up repetitive processing in a shop setting and reduce layout guesswork on site. The specific manufacturer part number 87130US10B ties the Contemporary Edge Pull style and the US10B oil rubbed bronze finish together in a single identifier, which helps purchasing teams and installers reference the exact item across drawings, cut lists, and orders without confusion. The combination of a contemporary edge design and an oil rubbed bronze tone gives designers a way to specify modern linear hardware with a classic bronze color, which can bridge projects that mix current lines with more traditional materials. The placement of this product within the Emtek Handles and Pulls class signals that it is part of a broader decorative hardware offering, which can help standardize a job around one family of pulls and handles for a unified appearance.
The Emtek Contemporary Edge Pull is specified as 8"CC, meaning there are 8 inches between its mounting centers, which guides drilling layout for consistent installation across multiple fronts.
The product is described as a cabinet edge pull, so it is intended to mount at the door or drawer edge, creating a grip point along that edge for opening fronts.
