Emtek contemporary edge pull gives a clean way to grab cabinet fronts while keeping lines simple. The pull is identified as a N/D cabinet edge pull, so it works at the door or drawer edge where a low-profile grip is needed and helps keep modern cabinetry looking streamlined. The product is part of the Handles and Pulls category, so it functions as the primary handhold on a cabinet front during daily use. Classified under Handles and Pulls, Emtek, it fits into coordinated hardware layouts where matching pieces from the same brand are preferred. The part is described as contemporary, which supports straight-line design on newer residential or commercial casework without ornate detail competing with the door or drawer face.
The product name lists 8"CC, indicating an 8 inch center-to-center reference that guides hole spacing when laying out this pull on cabinet fronts and supports consistent alignment from door to door. That same 8"CC detail helps installers keep drilling patterns repeatable on a line of drawers, reducing layout time once the first piece is positioned correctly. The flat black reference appears both in the product name and as FB in the SAP description, so finish expectations stay clear when coordinating this pull with other flat black components in a job. Because the pull is defined as an edge pull, layout work focuses on the front edge zone of the cabinet part, which can simplify measuring compared to mid-panel hardware placements.
The Web description names this hardware an N/D cabinet edge pull-8' US19, tying it directly to cabinet use where a narrow, edge-mounted part is preferred over bulkier handles. The 8' reference in both the SAP and Web descriptions links this pull to an 8-size family, which helps designers call it out accurately on drawings when specifying a longer grip along wider fronts. As part of Decorative Hardware & Moldings|Handles and Pulls, the piece fills the role of visible cabinet hardware that users contact every day, so its edge location keeps faces cleaner and can support minimal-looking installations. The Handles and Pulls, Emtek product class shows that this pull fits within Emtek-focused projects, helping shops keep brand consistency where other Emtek items appear on adjoining doors or drawers.
The 8"CC mark in the product name acts as a direct drilling reference for installers setting up jigs or templates, which reduces rework when repeating the same measurement across multiple cabinets. The manufacturer part number 87130US19 uniquely identifies this exact flat black contemporary edge pull, which matters when reordering or matching hardware on later phases of a project so that previously installed cabinets and new cabinets use the same part. Listing flat black in the product name ties color selection to that 87130US19 number, so finish and part identity stay linked on purchase orders and drawings. Because Wurth Baer Supply focuses on cabinet hardware among other woodworking products, this Emtek cabinet edge pull aligns with woodworking shop workflows where hardware specification, ordering, and installation all rely on precise product identifiers.
