EPCO BP Pull 3" (76 mm) Center to Center, Satin Nickel, BP030-SN

EPCO BP Series 3 Inch Bar Pull Details

EPCO BP Series 3 inch bar pull defines this handle as part of a coordinated steel bar pull collection, so runs of doors and drawers can share a consistent look across a project. The pull is specified as a steel product, which gives the handle a solid feel that suits regular cabinet and drawer use. A satin nickel finish is listed, providing a muted metallic look that works well where a softer, less reflective appearance is preferred. The stated 3 inch center to center dimension sets the hole spacing, which matters when matching existing drilling patterns on doors and drawers. A listed overall length of 5-1/2 inches means the pull extends beyond the hole centers, giving visual balance on typical cabinet fronts. The specified projection of 1-27/64 inches indicates how far the pull stands off the surface, leaving space for fingers to grip.

Key EPCO Satin Nickel Bar Pull Advantages

• The cataloged 3 inch center to center sizing matches a common drilling standard, which simplifies specifying pulls for cabinet lines already laid out for this spacing.
• The satin nickel finish is clearly stated, so the visual tone can be coordinated with other satin nickel decorative hardware on the same project.
• The material is identified as steel, giving the bar pull a firm feel in hand that suits doors and drawers opened many times per day.
• An overall length of 5-1/2 inches spreads the grip area beyond the 3 inch holes, which helps the pull sit proportionally on typical cabinet and drawer fronts.
• The projection of 1-27/64 inches creates measured stand-off from the surface, leaving room to grasp the bar without knuckles contacting the door or drawer face.

Mounting And Hole Spacing For This Bar Pull

The specified 3 inch center to center dimension defines the distance between mounting holes, which is critical when aligning the pull with existing bored fronts or drilling new fronts on a line-boring pattern. Because the pull uses this fixed spacing, layout for multiple doors and drawers can be repeated across a bank of cabinets without refiguring measurements each time. The projection of 1-27/64 inches also enters into layout, since it shows how far the bar will extend into the room and helps determine clearance relative to adjacent doors, appliances, or walls. With an overall length of 5-1/2 inches, the ends of the bar extend beyond the mounting points, which can be helpful when centering the pull visually on different door and drawer widths.

Using This EPCO Steel Bar Pull In Projects

Where This Satin Nickel Cabinet Pull Fits Best

The catalog classification under Decorative Hardware & Moldings and Handles and Pulls identifies this item as suited for cabinet and similar furniture fronts, where a functional grip and finished appearance are both required. As part of the Steel Bar Pull Series, this handle can be used wherever a straight bar style is desired, such as on kitchen cabinets, shop cabinets, or other casework using 3 inch hole spacing. The satin nickel finish provides a subdued metallic tone, which works well in projects that coordinate with other satin nickel decorative hardware or where a softer sheen is preferred over bright metal looks. Since the pull is made of steel, it supports use on doors and drawers that will be operated frequently throughout the day.

Details That Support Consistent Layout And Results

The clearly specified 3 inch center to center dimension helps installers align this EPCO BP Series pull with common boring patterns, reducing layout variation from cabinet to cabinet in a run. A projection of 1-27/64 inches gives a defined stand-off distance, which helps maintain consistent clearance between the gripping surface and the cabinet face across all doors and drawers. The 5-1/2 inch overall length means the bar will visually span a wider area than the mounting points, aiding in creating balanced sight lines on both narrow and wider fronts that share the same hole spacing. The combination of steel construction and satin nickel finish, specified together, means projects using this pull can keep both tactile feel and visual tone consistent from one opening to the next.
