DH Caster 2" Plate Mount Swivel Caster, No Brake, 125 lb, C-GD20MRS

DH Casters Swivel Caster For General Duty Use

DH Casters swivel caster is a plate mount general duty caster that supports 125lb capacity, so it handles many light-duty carts and shop fixtures without overbuilding the hardware. The 2 inch wheel size keeps overall height compact, which helps when retrofitting existing furniture or low-clearance equipment in factories and warehouses. The SAP description notes a non-marking design, so the wheel is intended to roll without leaving marks, useful on finished floors where appearance or cleanup time matters. The caster uses a swivel design, allowing the wheel to rotate for easier maneuvering around tight aisles and workstations. The finish is corrosion-resistant zinc plated, which helps the caster maintain function in typical indoor industrial environments where humidity or spills are common. The product name confirms there is no brake on this model, so it suits applications where free-rolling movement is the priority.

General Duty Caster Details That Support Workflows

• The caster is identified as a plate mount design, which provides a broad mounting surface that spreads load into the furniture or equipment base for stable support in factory and warehouse use.
• The 125lb capacity rating in the product name defines how much load each caster is intended to handle, guiding layout decisions when planning the number of casters under carts, benches, or equipment frames.
• The wheel diameter range for this caster series is stated as 2 inch to 4 inch, and the 2 inch size on this model keeps working height low while still supplying general duty performance where tall casters may interfere with existing layouts.
• The web description notes that general duty casters in this line are offered in hard rubber, plastic, and non-marking rubber wheel material types, so specifiers can keep material choices consistent across a project or match this non-marking option where floor protection matters.
• The corrosion-resistant zinc plated finish described in the product data protects exposed metal surfaces from typical indoor moisture, supporting longer-term use on warehouse furniture and shop equipment that see daily rolling and repositioning.

Plate Mount Swivel Caster Fit And Installation Use

The product is classified as a plate mount caster, so it fastens by its top plate to a flat surface on furniture or equipment, which suits welded frames and wood bases commonly found in factories and warehouses. The swivel design called out in the SAP description allows the wheel assembly to rotate, giving carts and fixtures tighter turning capability in constrained aisles and around machinery. The 2 inch wheel diameter referenced in the web description shapes overall height, so this caster works where vertical space is limited under cabinets, carts, or small machines. The 125lb capacity identified in the product name provides a clear load reference when planning support points so equipment rolls smoothly without overloading individual casters. The corrosion-resistant zinc plated finish supports installation in typical interior industrial settings where metal hardware may be exposed to cleaning solutions or incidental moisture.

Using This Non-Marking Swivel Caster In The Shop

Where This DH Casters Swivel Caster Performs Best

The web description states that these casters are widely used in factories and warehouses on furniture and equipment, so this model aligns with mobile work tables, storage units, and light machinery bases in those environments. As part of a general duty caster line, it matches applications where loads are moderate, frequent repositioning is expected, and full industrial heavy-duty hardware is unnecessary. The 2 inch wheel size referenced in the description suits compact carts and low stands that need mobility without adding significant height, which helps when keeping work surfaces at a specific ergonomic level. The non-marking characteristic noted in the SAP description supports use on finished concrete or coated floors, because the wheel is designed to roll without leaving marks that disrupt appearance or require extra floor maintenance.

Why This General Duty Design Supports Repeatable Results

The swivel configuration described in the SAP data allows equipment to pivot around tight spots, which reduces effort when navigating narrow warehouse rows or machine clusters. The 125lb capacity value in the product name provides a consistent rating per caster, so planners can duplicate caster layouts across multiple carts and expect similar performance. The corrosion-resistant zinc plated finish mentioned in the web description helps protect the caster body over time in typical indoor industrial conditions, supporting smooth rolling and swivel action during repeated moves. The availability of hard rubber, plastic, and non-marking rubber wheel types within the same general duty caster line lets specifiers standardize wheel performance across projects, which simplifies maintenance when matching replacements. The plate mount classification in the product data ties this caster to flat-mount applications, creating predictable installation geometry from one build to the next.
